imo it is. It's the most cheap MK game ever made! The difficulty is way too high, and the opponents do the same extreemly hard attacks to block over and over again. Blocking is nearly pointless on that game. Why people say that's the best is beyond me. I have the SM version of 2, xbox, and each character does this main attack.

baraka: the three punch combo, which is hard for your person to hit, but not theirs.

reptile: forceball, spit, and cheap throw attack

jax:three punch combo

kitana:fna lift, and fan throw repeatedly

mileena; flying kicks galore!

scoepion: spear, hellfire

sub-zero:slide, freeze ball

Kintro: punches that do riduclous damage

Shao Kahn: avy of his attacks are cheap

Liu Kang: Flying kick, other aerial attacks
Kung lao: same as LK, without flying kick

all i'm saying is that when people say it's the best it's a huge overstatement. It's wayy tooo cheap, and i don't have any fun being beaten repeatedly( yes i do suck at the game, but all th other MK games i son't care if i do)
All the MK2 fans out there, don't take this th worng way, it's imo, and no offense if you liked it. note: i 'm not sure if scorpion has the hellfire attack that he has from DA-A, because i haven't played 2 in a while. If he doesn't have that attack, i know he cheaply overuses his spear attack every time you get far waya from him. (sorrr to all the people who didn't get what i was talking about.)
