You throw by pressing LP when within a certain distance from the character's collision box, but as long as the other person is holding back, no matter how close you are, no matter what state the character is in, no matter what move they are doing, no matter how you try to "enhance" the throw, they cannot be thrown.

Edit: Double post, only time you can't prevent throwing in an MK game is while you are running cause you have to hold forward to run by the way, unless you are in the corner, run into the corner, the other person gets behind you and runs in and tries to throw you while you are running away. Matt

Yes! Very sick! I even love the songs Konqrr picked for the video - Megadeth's "Symphony Of Destruction" and Rammstein's "Du Riechst So Gut".
However, this is a bumped thread. On the other hand, this is a thread that should've been stickied a long time ago, but this combo video is mentioned in another stickied thread.
