Hi, I was just wondering...why does the floor in the Armory in MK2 move after I perform a Fatality? Has it always been like that? I can't remember.

its a common error in the Sega Saturn version and not in the arcade, which prooves this is not taken from the arcade...

Wrong. It is in the Arcade version of MK II. MAT2 MK II is pretty much arcade perfect, just a bit faster and with a couple of glitches.
Peace.

The only time I ever saw the floor in the Armory move is in those Trading Card Videos on the Kollectors Edition/Premium Pack bonus disc. I haven't played the arcade version enough to really notice anything. I could play MAME to find out, but I need a new computer before I put MAME on it.

What does it mean exactly when someone says "arcade perfect?"
I thought it meant that it's exactly like the arcade version, but that can't be true because they're definately not.
The graphics arent as crisp, nor are other minor things the same (ie. health bars, fatality times, etc).
Plus, the MAT skips or something; whenever you win or lose, it hurries right to the next battle.
So can someone clarify what "arcade" perfect actually means?...
Because I went into buying it for that reason, and was kinda disappointed.

Well, "arcade perfect" most likely means it's not 100% arcade perfect, but pretty damn close to it overall. Even new roms added to MAME are likely to NOT be 100% arcade perfect, because there's usually some emulation bugs. Prime example: UMK3, where if you got Classic Subbie, Mileena, and Ermac and had them saved, you'd see some weird color shit on the character select and Choose Your Destiny screens. I'm pretty certain that even if it's supposed to be "arcade perfect", there's always going to be those emulation bugs that need to be fixed. But in this case, the emulation bugs are enough to piss a LOT of gamers off; not just MK fans. Even Primal Rage has some emulation bugs. During that big feast that you're supposed to have right before the final battle, I can't even get that eat humans move (universal to all seven characters) to work, not to mention the fact that they changed the special move and fatality commands for that game. I seriously think that MIDWAY needs to re-release a FIXED version of this game for that reason!

I remember that funny little deal with Reptile and the armory. I don't know what if it is a glitch, intentional or what but I do remember it! Cool!
