When MK2 was released in 1994, there was a lot of rumors regarding "secret" finishing moves, such as brutalities, animalities and nudalities (also known as sexualities) - and what bothers me, is that some of these were included in a latter titles, such as MK3 or MKT (while others were not). So I'm wondering if maybe these were actual "leaks" from producers from an early phases of development, or what?

And yeah, I remember spreading them even when I already knew they're untrue - but it was fun ;)

I always figured the rumors came first. After all the rumors flew in MK2, when they were making MK3 they decided to stick in animalities and then later they put in brutalities, just for fan service.

i'm not saying this is true, but has anyone heard the rumor that one of the finishing rumors of kano when fighting sonya was to try to strip her naked? I remember I was real young, but some older teenagers that I knew were definetly talking about that. Alot of people were.

No animalities in MK2 except of Kang's dragon fatality.

Animalities in Mk2.
Uppercut someone unto the hooks in the dead pool and the left and right doors will open revealing, Kano.
Able to choose Sonya.
Ermac.
Hidden characters having fatals.
Able to uppercut someone unto one of the trees mouth.

Those are some I remember when MKII was release.

Okay.
- playable character having "5 fatalities each" (misunderstanding - there were 5 finishing moves inlcuding 2 fatalis)
- Shang's Kano morphing
- Scarlet (ref female ninja)
- Bill Clinton ;)

You know, the Nudealities and Sexalities, whatever, no one actually believed a single one of those. The only people who said those existed were people like me but I was in 4th grade and the only people who were dumb enough to believe me were other 4th graders.

I remember trying to beat Jade with nothing but uppercuts, trying to get to Sonya... I actualy did beat her with nothing but uppercuts one Snes (with the ALMOST unbeatable cheat) and... nothing happened.
There was a rumor that the Fergality (it really works on the Genesis version!)
Is in the Arcade version too, because someone has seen in the sourcecode of MK2 Arcade the word Fergality, the rumor also says that you have to adjust the Soundbar in the Adminscreen of MK2 to an exact level to use Fergality, but i think this is bullshit =)
