If anyone here is really old school, you may remember when Boon had posted this trailer before MK4 debuted in the arcades:







See how different the final game was? Of course they made things dark in case they wanted to change the final look later. Kind of like how in the MK6 trailer, they speed by certain things so fast you can't really make out what they are; even when you pause it they look pretty blurry.

I downloaded that trailer from the Mortal Kombat Multimedia section in blood-sports.net. I don't see how different the final game was,though.

I really wish I could get ahold of some old MK4 boards. Like I'd love to mess around with one of the road tour versions or revision 1.

I've been wating to ask about those. I remember that those were the pics being passed around gaming magazines quite a bit.
