MKII MAT2 PS2 UK problem

Hi

So with MKII being my all time fave game i was most excited about having an arcade version on my PS2... but when i got this thing home it froze straight away... thought nothing of it... restarted the console and played again.. everything was perfect but after beating a few ppl it froze again.. and again... and again... I was actually upset about this so emailed Midway.. they said they have heard no problems with this.

Today I got another copy of the game but it also crashes all the time... Should i get the XBOX version i'm now thinking....

Has anyone else in the UK had this problem with the game??

I am not sure if this is going to help or not but I have the US version of MAT II and I noticed that the game does some crashing. Mine usually happens during the load up screens, where it just gets stuck. It doesn't happen often and it doesn't happen in game. I don't know what to tell you but maybe it could be a buggy batch of games. Try calling a customer service line and see if any other complaints have been registered for this game.

I have the UK version and I didn't encounter any problems like that.

The US ps2 version is more glitchy than the US xbox version. though I haven't encountered freezing, I think you should check out the Xbox version just in case.

There's nothing wrong with my version (PS2) whatsoever, I am known to really look after my consoles pretty well.

I just bought MAT2 today and it hasn't hung a single time yet... I also can't really figure out why people bitch so much about MAT2, it's got great games for the price tag and the only problem I can find with MK is the flickering shadows (which in the end don't really affect gameplay at all) and not being able to fight Smoke...
