I'm not sure if you are confused by my post or if i confused you. But i'm not after an illegal copy of MKT. (I've already got MKT)

I just want to know if Kali can be used to play MKT online as it seems to be an online service that allows games that can be played over an IPX network (such as MKT) to be played over the net.

I have wondered this too Robs. I use Kali for some older games like Doom, but the version I have doesn't have Mortal Kombat Trilogy on the list of games tha can be played online. I don't know if its because I am using the free version of Kali, I think there is a pay version as well.

There was another program like Kali that I used to use to play Shareware Blood online. I am almost certain it had MKT listed but I never got the chance to try it. I also forget the name of it. It was a web based one. The program worked like an Internet Explorer plugin and it loaded the games up.

i'm not exactly sure how it works, but it seems you can set up your own games to be played but you need to be a registered user. Any chance that someone who is registered and has MKT could try this out??
Here's the link to the FAQ http://www.kali.net/bbs/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.pl?board=FAQ;action=display;num=1050327437

It'd be great if MKT could be played online smile

yeah it does suck that u have to pay now - but it's only a one off fee to register, unlike other online games eg. ultima online which you have to pay monthly.
I'd be quite happy to pay if i knew that the games that i want to play would work!

With the technology that we have today, I wouldn't doubt it. But who in the hell would play it online when you could play it on N64 or PSX.
