This is going to be a Survivor style game based on Mortal Kombat 2. There was a user that created the idea a few years ago based on the MK1 characters and we were planning to have a 2nd round for the next game but we never did. So with MKX coming I thought I'd revive the game since it was really fun to play. It also helped to keep the hype levels for MK9 under control

Here's how the game will work....

At the start each player will be assigned one MK2 character at random. You are not allowed to role claim as to who you are or someone else is. Here are the roles...

Each person's identity will be secret.
The game will work in the following way:
Everyone has 3 health bars. The game will alternate between round 1 and round 2.

For round 1 everyone votes publicly in this thread, for who they would like to deal a loss to. At the end of the round the person with the most votes will lose 1 health.
Round 2 will be anonymous. Everyone must privately PM me a vote for who they would like to deal a loss to with the same rule applying; the person with the most votes loses a health.

Any losses dealt by a character ability will be announced when they happen and can thus make it so more than one person loses a health per round. After a player loses all 3 health bars they die and their role will be announced to the remaining players.
If a player doesn't vote in a round the gain an "inactivity". If they get 3 inactivities, they automatically suffer one health loss.

The good character's win the game by killing all the Evil characters and vice versa; the trick of course being that no one knows who's good and who's bad. Your role is the most powerful thing you hold in this game and you shouldn't tell it to anyone. Unless your character has the power to reveal someone's alignment or you have figured it out by the way they vote. Alliances are bound to happen that way.

Each character has 3 abilities. The first 2 abilities will be public that everyone knows about. To use an ability simply send me a PM/IM through the private messaging system telling me which ability you would like to use(or both if you want). Keep in mind that most abilities have a limited amount of uses on them so use them wisely. Here's the list:


Sub Zero
1. Iceball (3 Uses) - Choose 1 player and stop their next Round 2 vote and ability from counting.

2. Grandmaster - If Sub-zero votes for Shang Tsung or Scorpion during his Round 2 vote, Sub-zero gains a Block.


Johnny Cage
1. Nut Cracker (3 Uses) - Choose 1 player. Their next vote doesn't count and the move contributes to their inactivity. Cannot be used on the same person consecutively.

2. Autographed memento - After each loss, Cage can choose 1 player responsible and deal them an automatic loss. Does not apply to the backfire of his Nut cracker.


Raiden
1. Thunder god (3 Uses) - Choose a player and reveal their alignment.

2. Static (3 Uses) - Heal 1 loss, cannot be used on the same player twice.


Kung Lao
1.Hat Slice (4 Uses) - Choose one player of the opposite alignment and guess their identity. If you are right, deal an automatic loss to them (can only be done once to a character).
2. For the Shaolin (3 Uses) - Block a vote cast on Kung Lao. Can finish all 3 uses in one round.


Liu Kang
1. Bicycle Kick (3 Uses) - Choose 1 player and prevent them from making any actions during Round 2. If the ability is used on Kitana, or Shang Tsung transformed as Kitana, the move backfires and Liu Kang suffers 1 loss.

2. Last hope- If Liu Kang votes for Shang Tsung in Round 2, it counts as 2 votes instead on one.


Kitana
1. Fan Lift (5 Uses) - Choose 1 player. If that player is Mileena, she instantly loses 2 rounds of Kombat and you lose your remaining uses of this ability. If they are not Mileena you have a 50% chance to learn their alignment.

2. Royal Blood (3 Uses) - Each round Kitana can choose to protect 1 player. The player is safe from 1 loss in that round. She can only use this ability on herself once.


Jax
1.Metal Arms (5 Uses) - Choose 1 player of the opposite alignment and guess their identity. If you guess correctly Jax gains a block action.

2.Gotcha! - Whenever someone votes for Jax in round 2, he can choose 1 person who voted for him and stop their next Round 2 vote from counting.


Mileena
1. Rolling Thunder (5 Uses) - Choose 1 player. If that player is Kitana, she instantly loses 2 rounds of Kombat and you lose your remaining uses of this ability. If they are not Kitana you have a 50% chance to learn their alignment.

2. Deception (1 Use and has a cost of 1 health) - Choose 1 player. From that point on, that player's Round 2 vote is automatically cast to the same person that Mileena votes for without their knowing. When Mileena is killed, that player gets their vote back.


Scorpion
1. Get over here! (3 Uses) - Choose 1 player and nullify any Round 1 actions they make(Voting and Ability)

2. Vengeance- Whenever someone votes for Scorpion in Round 2, he can choose 1 person who voted for him and nullify their special ability next time they wanna use them.


Baraka
1. Tarkatan scent (4 Uses) - Choose 1 player. Get to know if character received votes in the secret round 2. If they did Baraka gains a block.

2. Chop Chop (3 Uses) - Baraka can cast 2 votes instead of one in this round.


Reptile
1. Hidden Assassin - Choose 1 player. 3 Rounds later (including the current round) they suffer a loss. You cannot use your Round 2 vote while stalking another player.

2. Stealth (3 Uses) - Reptile is immune to loss during the next/current Round 2.


Shang Tsung
1. Morph (3 Uses) - Change into a role of your choice and adopt 1 of their abilities(List will be sent to whoever is assigned Shang Tsung). You change back at the start of the next Round 1.

2. Soul Steal (3 Uses) - Choose a player and reveal their alignment.


Kintaro
1. For The Shokan!- Kintaro has 4 healths instead of 3. As a result when reduced to 1 remaining health his identity is revealed.

2. Pummel-
1st use- 1 Loss to a player of Kintaro's choosing
2nd use- 1 Loss to a random player(Not including Kintaro)
3rd use- Choose 1 player, if that player has uses left on any of their abilities they lose them.(Only works for 1 ability if the player has 2)


Shao Kahn
1.Ridicule (3 Uses) - Block 2 votes cast on Shao Kahn in this round.

2.Konqueror of Worlds - Guess the identity of a player of the opposite alignment. If correct, the player loses the remaining uses of their special abilities.


Each character also has a Flawless ability which will be sent to them privately. These abilities sometimes have special conditions that need to be met before they come into play.
