I remember from ads for MK 2 the Tower stage had Terracotta warriors in the background, but those were removed. Also, Johnny Cage had words on his pants for a certain brand of workout clothing. I remember this from the ads when I watched them a little while ago.

MK2 - Kung Lao "Torpedo".
This move was used in MKT, but sprites were already in MK2.


Kung Lao's hat had shine in his wining stance.


I never understood what Kung Lao close punch was. It looks like he is biting his enemy or give him a shoulder nudge? But in reality it seems he strikes him with his hat. Except that special effects of the hat's strike was removed form the game, so it looks quite akward.


Raiden should have had lightining going around his body like in MK1. The animation is exactly the same as in MK1, but it was redrawn to match the style of lightning in MK2. For whatever reason it was cut.

Shang's MK1 Fatality would've been great.
Nice to know my work is on par with them, there were concerns I didn't have trails/motion streaks on my weapon attack edits.

Oh, with those sprites of Kahn sit/standing up someone can finally do that Simpsons gag I told ]{ombat about years ago. When they go to get on the couch, show Kahn's Arena. Kahn walks to his throne n sits down. MKII Announcer says EXCELLENT!
