MK2 is better than all the other MK's thats a fact and opinion.

MK2 requires more skill because there is no super big combos that people would preform on you like in the other ones.

MK2 requires you know how to use Mileena to spam jump away -> sai, or Jax to spam projectile -> hk, ground pound. The game is shallow as a puddle.

Plus there is no damage scaling and everything does bigger damage than in UMK3, which is why you can do the enormous damage like you can with combos in UMK3, except you only need a handful of hits to do it. Add on to that the fact that it is a slow turtlefest with glitched collision detection and it becomes obvious, MK2's gameplay sucks. It's better than MK1, but UMK3 is out of it's league.

UMK3 is the only MK game with good, high level, balanced gameplay.

So is MK:A as far as the 3D MK's are concerned, that's a different story though.

For the classics, I agree UMK3 is the best classic MK overall.
