Ages upon ages ago, around 1998/1999, the main forums for the MK Kommunity were on a newsgroup.

On this newsgroup was a joker name Marty Kombat who swore that he was the champion of MK, and that MK was real. I am not joking (ask Jonin01, ]OMBAT, DAB or Kiara about it).

Let's say he was "comic relief" for us all.
