A new update is now available for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection on all platforms. The patch is bringing new and enhanced features for the kollection of klassics, allowing players to better customize their experience while playing online and at home. Take a closer look for more details:

The word "code" has many different definitions and in the latest Legacy Kollection update Room Codes will allow controlled access to private online sessions via a five-character password. The new feature will have visibility options, so if you're livestreaming you can choose whether to share the code on your screen -- or keep the tournament invitation only.

While taking the fight online, you'll also now be able to filter by connection strength, in addition to toggling cross-region matchmaking, for the smoothest possible opponents. Console Krossplay will not be included with this patch, but is expected in the next update sometime in Spring.

The "Fixed AI Difficulty" option previously included with arcade versions of the klassics has now also been applied to versions from the Sega Genesis, 32X, and Super Nintendo. It works in Arcade and Versus modes and applies the fixed difficulty option (0 easier, 9 hardest) from start to finish. Fixed AI Difficulty can be turned off for the original unaltered experience.

The extensive Krypt Kontent has also received some updates to add attract screen character bios from the original Mortal Kombat, and ending sequences from Mortal Kombat 4. A convenient nostalgic treat for fans of the characters and lore.
