Every time i fight against Motaro in MKT, he wins all the time. Every time he teleports, either he blocks and throws or he just throws me. i win at least 3 rounds out of 9. That's 33.3%!!!!! Who agrees? Please reply

It is so easy to beat Motaro it's mind numbing. Jump in and HP, and do the first hit of a combo, it will push him back just enough so you can't get hit or picked up. Repeat this over and over as the only hit that does chip damage is the jump punch. Eventually he will not block the punch at times, so do a full combo. The second round is the easy round, usually you can jump kick him over and over and he will do nothing.

Just remember to run in and combo all the time, thats the easiest way to beat him. And, don't forget to use kick starters.
For instance, right off the bat, Motauro usually tries to trip you with his tail, so just watch for that, jump straight up and do a kick starter to ground combo. If you get used to sneaking them in there, you will win.
I also used Sindel a lot and her air projectile will hurt him if you hit him high enough, so that is handy as well.

motaro is the easyest character in MKT. exept if u play as noob saibot or rain.
for killing him just begging the combo in the air and do a combo that pushes him back.(for example reptile`s kick combo) that way if he blocks or not he will be pushed away then jump again and do another combo.

What's funny is when used he is one of the best characters. He is second only to Kahn, with Kintaro coming in right after.

Motaro is ridiculously easy. Noob saibot, baraka, kabal, smoke, jade, rain, are your friends.
Theres also an uppercut tactic. Kinda hard to explain, but you crouch down and wait for motaro to come to you. Once he does, you uppercut him (make sure he doesnt grab your or anything). After you do that, he will most likely jump over you, and come up to you again, thus making you able to keep on uppercutting him. So basically you just keep uppercutting him, he'll jump over you, and its the same whole cycle over again.
But remember, it wont always turn out how you want it to be. I screwed up alot of times doing this, and motaro will be sure to get you a few times. Also, after you uppercut him, quickly keep on jump kicking him. Sometimes he will just stand there and take it. One time i kept on doing this atleast 6 times straight until i beat him. To my suprise, he didnt do anything. Try it.

if you go really close to motaro, you can hurt him with projectiles. Do this with noob and that way he won't attack for a little bit

Motaro is nothing, just wait until you fight Shoa Kahn, you'll wish you were fighting two Motaros

It is so easy to own Shao Kahn lol. Pick any character who can delivery a single combo that does more damage to him than his shoulder tackle does to you.
Example:
Sheeva 7 hit VS Shao Kahn tackle. Take tackle, run in and combo, rinse and repeat. It's a battle of attrition and Shao Kahn is at the losing end of that battle. Sheeva seems to be able to run in much sooner than anyone else, but for the most part, other characters get close enough to Kahn to hit him as he starts up an attack, or right as he going into recovery frames. Endurances are the hardest in the game, IMO. Then they throw a boss in the endurance match!

Just pick Rain. Go over to Motaro at close range. Throw a water ball at him. Drag him above you. Uppercut him. Throw another water ball at him. Drag him above you again. Uppercut him. Repeat until he is dead.
This also works for Shao Kahn.

As for a strategy to beat him, MK2KungBroken's strategy works for all of the characters, especially the ones with the big comobos, like Sheeva and Jax.

Thanks guys. I sure was going at it wrong. I jump back with Scorpion until I get in a corner until Motaro comes to me, then I teleport punch him. But, it rarely works. Anyway, I really appreciate it.

Often with Motaro you can simple do a teleport punch with Scorpion, Smoke, or Ermac at any time. 9 times out 10 he misses his counter punch, you land infront of him and combo.

My strategy for beating Motaro is also pretty sound. Works for just about any character.
At the beginning, watch his movements and if he attempts a tail trip, jump kick, run in and combo. For the duration of the match, keep your distance from him. Eventually he'll try either teleporting around or jumping towards you. If he jumps, jump kick him in mid air, then run in and combo. Rinse and repeat. If he teleports, just let him continue doing it as much as he wants, keep your distance and he'll eventually stop and try to jump towards you again. You'll know what to do. Just watch out for his cheating strategy of juggling you with 4 or 5 consecutive fireballs.
There's also another really easy way to beat Shao Kahn.
Choose either of the Sub-Zero's and freeze him. Uppercut, then immediately freeze again. 9 times out of 10 you'll catch him with it, so rinse and repeat. In the event that he blocks the freeze, just wait for him to try an attack, avoid it, freeze him, repeat.
I must admit though both Shao Kahn and Motaro are significantly beefed up in MKt compared to MK3. In MK3, neither of them were a challenge in the slightest, but both of them are quite a bit harder to beat (but still not THAT difficult) in MKT.

Motaro is significantly more difficult in MK3. The jump punch starters really blow him out of the water.

I always though that Motaro was getting harder since MK3, in MK3 he rarely teleports or uses his projectile, he's actually pretty easy in MK3 IMO, just wait for him to jump at you, use a swift high-kick and run in and combo, if he doesn't jump in, just do to backward jump-kicks, that will prevent him from walking your way, after which he'll prolly jump at you again.
