I was messing about on mame yesterday, and I was just doing combos starting with the multiple HP's that knock and opponent back, then catching them w/ spear's, freezes etc.

Well, then I did this...

I did it on Cyrax (so I guess the robots are easiest to do it on) and it goes like this:

(Start with opponent a few steps away from the corner) Multiple HP's til they fall back, tele-uppercut, JK, spear, HP, HP, LK, HK, LP, then slightly delayed HK = 10 HITS / 99% (well death)

I know it's cheesey, and I know it's 99%, but it kills em so I would think it's an infinite. It had bugged me seeing the end of MKkompletions, and not seeing Cyborg Smoke in the list of characters that possessed a kill combo.

I guess if it is an infinite it would be in the Cheese formtongue But still, can someone give me some clarification on it?

thx,

krsx.

Well, if you count everything as a combo that is displayed it the counter than it,s a combo, but of course its not a combo.

By the way, this shit works with nearly every stun move, you can beginn with multiple standing high punches and than add Sub,s freeze, Kabal,s spin ect. to it, to make it look like a killer combo.

I'm a little confused by this.

Anti air HP, teleport uppercut, jump kick, spear, hp, hp, lk, hk, lp, standing hk is 10 hits 70% damage.

Getting 2 HPs before a teleport uppercut could be possible if done precisely right but it I doubt I could since technically you are only allowed 1 hit before a teleport uppercut. You are only allowed 1 hit before Sub Zero's freeze as well but I've gotten two by timing the freeze just right to start at the exact moment the HP connects.

EDIT:
Oh wait, the character is just standing when you do the punches at the beginning? They can block after that, so they wouldn't really count as part of a combo.

But they might still be a 'true' combo, not sure though...

Still 'truer' than the garbage that is known as relaunch...

It's similar to the SNES concept of HP HP HP HP spear, repeat. It puts enough time inbetween spears to get multiple, and it never counts the flurry as a single hit. In the case of the arcade it's 100% blockable, but it looks like legit combos that can happen in MKD...
