It's a funny MUGEN MK game. Its cool they put so much effort into it, but its a shame the gameplay is blech. They aren't interested in making it a good game, they just want a lot of home made fatalities.

I worked on this game with RatonMalo and bwwd for a while. When bwwd was doing the main programming he actually came to me for technical advice (not programming but what was to BE programmed) and then when he gave up, the new crew decided that it was more important to cram it full of incomplete characters fluffed around incomplete gameplay, with glitchy fatalities and special moves. It had so much potential. I'm still on the Dev team on their site as "EWAShock"

I hope so considering I provided them with an insane amount of knowledge of the game and specifics/mathematics to work with. It's as simple as making things work they way I explained it and they refuse to do so. They won't even do the collisions correctly. They told me a couple versions ago "So and so has done all collisions so they are accurate." I get the game and they are worse than ever.

It can be kind of shocking to find out every frame has a max of 1 hot box and 1 cold box. People expect the hit boxes to completely cover the entire character, every nook and cranny.
This version has been out for a long time, but comparing it to the previous, it doesn't look like they really attempted to make it any more like the arcade than previous versions. In a lot of ways its moving away from the arcade version. Getting more broken.

I was working on character spacing so the characters didn't overlap when walking toward each other and Shock and I made and programmed the Sheeva stomp move. I also did much work on the HP/LP in the game, attempting to make it more like it should be, but mugen is very tempermental.
Hydro is pretty lame...I do, however, like what they did with Human Smoke, he has some nice/broken moves/combos.

Yeah, mugen is a bitch to work with in mortal kombat, its like converting a street fighter game to mortal kombat, accept its mugen.
You cant down the game too much for that fact but I bet some of you can do a better job yourselves if you wanted to.
I wish there was an actual better free Mortal kombat game...(besides emulation :P )
