Being part of the Lin Kuei doesn't make a character have ice power. Smoke, Cyrax, and Sektor were all Lin Kuei and none of them shot ice.

But to answer the question, Noob most likely lost his freezing abilities when he was transformed into a wraith.

Yead I pretty much agree. After dieing Noob proably did lose his freezing powers. I still kinda wonder why he can't control fire like Scorpion...Both died and came back....cept Scorps is a Spectre and Noobs a wraith I guess...who knew ghosts could be so different?

Yeah, Noob's old form (original Sub-Zero) was a Lin Kuei warrior but as Noob-Saibot he's reborn as an evil wraith as covered already which pretty much kills his Lin Kuei past, new powers, new person etc.
