3. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

Rules

1. Double Elimination

2. Noob Saibot is banned from UMK3 since some people can't see him on certain stages.

3. If your not ready for a certain part of the tournament on time you automatically lose.

4. Infinites are allowed

5. No Warm Up matches during the tournament

6. No Zbattlenet

7. For UMK3 there it will be 2 on 2 for every fight.

8. You do not have enter all of the tournaments.

9. If there are not enough people for a certain tournament that tournament will not take place.

10. The maximum entry for each tournament is 20 people. The limit is four.

All entries are due by this Thursday! This way I can set up who is going to face who in the first rounds. When you enter please state the following.

1. AIM Name,MSN Name,Yahoo Name should be posted along with you confirming your entry. This way we can contact you. If you can download Aol Instant Messenger that would be best since we all have it.

2. State the tournament that you are entering (MK1/MK2/UMK3/ALL)

3. Give me your real name so when the results are posted I can post it up..for example..

Requirements

1. ZSNES version 1.36. You can get this from www.zsnes.com or you can instant message me on AIM and ill be happy to give it to you.

2. Direct X 9. You can get this from the downloads sections of microsoft.com. This is needed to get your ZSNES to work.

3. Mortal Kombat II(v1.1) (U) is the version of MK2 we will be using for the tournament.

4. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3(E) is the version of UMK3 we will be using for the tournament.

3. Mortal Kombat (U) is the version we will be using for the tournament.

The time for the tournament is not set yet for I want to find a time that can suit everyone. Perhaps 9:00 pm? I dunno. Guys post here if your entering this baby. Im in for sure, but im not that good. Good Liu Kang players in any of the 3 games we're having please dont hurt me!

WTF? Why no zBattle.net?!?!?!

It automatically sets up the IP addresses and shit, my crappy ISP has dynamic IP addresses (ever changing) and is hard for me to set up ZSNES online battles without zBattle.

Besides, you could make the server subject line something like "MK2 tourney 'Konq vs Vers'" or something...

Either way, count me in...but MK1 on SNES with infinites allowed? You gotta be kidding me, just trap someone in the corner and keep mashing punch and it's lights out...oh well. Online play is all good no matter the MK.

My ZSNES don't work whenever I try to open it, its just a blackbox sad, any know how to get passed this? I got direct X and all that stuff, and whats this Zbattle thing?

I don't know what the prob is with the black window...but zBattle Net is great! It's like a ZSNES server/client network, great for meeting new online comp and it sets up the games for you.

My tourney info:

AIM SN = Konqrr
Entering for sure MK2, but most likely all 3 games.

Vers wanted me to post how to get zBattle working, they just released a new version so it installs like any other windows program now. Just install and run it. You have to use ZSNES 1.36 the latest version with it as it was made with ZSNES in mind. Setup your username and locations of Emulator and Roms directories and you're set...just click connect, when you see a list of servers pop up, find a game you want to play that doesn't already have two players in it and click it, then click Game->Join. Or make your own game (server) by clicking Game->Create... It's all easy, just mess around with it and you'll figure it out and most people on there will be glad to help you out with it.

I just typed this up real quick so I could have missed something, if anyone else versed in zBattle has anything else to add (or correct my mess above) feel free to do so.

I made it clear in the first thread you made about this that it would be allowed to continue as long as no rom links were asked for or given out, which is also a rule that has been listed in the rules thread for a long time. Versatile, you broke that rule with this post, I've removed the links, but this thread is closed because of that offense.
