One-button fatality assistance

In MKT, I put in the hidden menu code, and turned on one-button fatalities. It worked for a couple of matches, but now it doesn't. I'm really confused and furious

Trilogy is really screwy with stuff. Basically don't pres anything but the button for your fatality, especially directions, and standing at or close to the right distance helps too. But don't worry, we all have this problem.
