Uninstall and reinstall, the only thing I can think of since I'm pretty sure it autodetects your sound. Works on both of my comps, one is a P3 550mhz, the other is a P4 3.2 ghz

My MKT used to have sound but now it doesn't. I've been whining about this very issue in other threads too

i have also had this problem ..but it only happenes when i hook up a controller to my computer..when my controller is not hooked up and i use my keyboard as a joy stick the sound works great...so what im saying is if u have a controller hooked up to ur computer unhook it and restart the game it should have sound... if not then i have no idea

This guy's right!!!!! I was actually about to post this, but then I came here and saw he already beat me to it.

I wasn't getting any sound (and the game was crashing whenever I pushed START)... yesterday I unplugged my controller and WHAMMO, everything worked fine!

I had a USB controller... not sure if that has anything to do with it. Either way, I use the keyboard-emulating X-Arcade, so it's no skin off my nose.

I unplugged my usb controller and now I have working sound, thanks for the help. Im just wondering why the controller would have any effect on the sound
