Alright, now most of you probably won't believe this, and its probably not what you are thinking. But I did find a way to play, sort of, as Noob Saibot in the Sega Genesis version of MK1. It requires a game genie too.

All you have to do, is put in the code CCXA-AC32 Then, while you are fighting, do Sub's slide move, and it will make a weird noise and turn you completely black. You ice freeze also comes out black. The names in the bars turn black, and when you win your name lights up red and black.

I have a video of it, so if anyone knows how I can host it then let me know.

Do you guys think that the MK design team knew that Noob was the old Sub Zero from MK1 during MK2. I mean they said Noob was a lost warrior from a previous mortal kombat and he had Sub Zero's fighting stance.

No, they probably didn't come up with the idea that Noob was the original Sub-Zero until MK:Deception. If they did have that idea in mind, they would have used it much earlier, such as in MK Trilogy or even UMK3. It probably just made since to make Noob the older Sub-Zero because, 1.)they wanted to let everyone know that the original isn't comming back 2.)it gave more of an interesting story to Noob Saibot.

As for my video, im gonna post it here, so see if it works.
(there is no sound to the video)

That is an awesome code. Very cool video too.smile
I remember seeing a screen of Noob in MK1 in a gaming mag when I was younger. He was fighting at the Pit. I assumed I remembered wrong, but it could've been a screen of this cheat.
