DS isn't garbage man? lol.It's beating the PSP in world sales right now which has to mean something since most thought the DS would suck.13 million DS's sold= not too bad at all lol.


PSP has more problems then the DS does, lower battery quality, not enough good games out, too many old movies that nobody cares about, newer movies that nobody cares about lol, can fuck up if you put certain emulators on it(which are illegal btw) and is just not worth the 250 in general.

UMK3 for DS would be awesome.

The touch screen could be used for mini games, and the menu and such.

I didn't even know about it! I thought MK:DU was the only Mk game for PSP, or are these emulators?

so no one has played it? well i just bought it with a gift card. I guess i'll let you all know. I needed mk1-3 portable so unless it plays like primal; rage i'll be good.

i have the game. is not as bad as they say (reviews). a cuple foults but no biggies for example like in mk2 the sky temple or tower doesnt have clouds or a sky theres some loading problems but not really bad like when fighting shang tsung in mk2 he disapears for less than a sec when he morphs to someone else

the game is not mediocrer like gspot says its fairly good

The mk games are better than the Deception Premium/Kollecter's edition mk1 and MAT2 Mortal kombat II and 3. I would suggest using emulaters though if your PSP is version 1.5 (hackable). No primal rage. The only Plus that MAT: EP has over emulaters is that it can be played with a friend! Hooray!!

BTW I happen to like psp over DS. If cost wasn't a factor the PSP would prevail but between all the aspects it's really a tie. DS has a "duel screen", a WiFi connection, better multiplayer, and less cost. PSP is more portable (doesn't matter if the DS is closed or open, it still wins), has better graphics, better single player games, gunna have deception unchained, can watch movies, can save videos and music on it, and can run emulaters.
IMO it's a tie.

I heard the d-pad really fucked up the mk games, is it really hard to jump around cuz thats what it was like for me on the emulators unless i was using the analog stick, which it real hard to to special moves with.

YES, I only really notice it in UMK3 but say you want to flip forward you might just jump straight up or move forward. There's less sensitivity on the diagonal on the d-pad. It's only for some games though. It just takes a little getting used to.

i own it, and the only problems ive come across is the loading. when you beat the game it takes awhile to load the cast of characters and they dont appear for a second. this also randomly happens throughout the game. i think its just poor emulation. i was also wondering if anyone knew how to be smoke since you cant enter the vs. screen things since there isnt one for some reason. you also cant enter the ultimate mortal kombat kode because you dont have a second set of buttons.

There IS a versus screem where you can enter the kombat codes.
You need a 2nd psp and game, and preferably a buddy to unlock smoke. One of you has to get a game over then up pops the Ultimake Kombat Kode and just enter it and you got him. Though you can't save him, even though there is a save feature for this game it does nothing.

I own it. It's pretty good. MK1 is the best, because there are no load times once you get into it. MK2 and MK3 are a bit different though. They have load times before character select, fights, everything. Even right before fatalities. I give it overall,

are you talking about the midy arcade tresures or an emulator. On the arcade treasure is it the full game or is it just like shoalin monks where its just the main charecters. Can you unlock the other charecters?

It's always just the main characters you can't play as anyone else.

i just got it and you can go smoke on Mk3 but i dont know how, i saw the middle turn roung but i didnt know how to move to selecter.

I have it and its crap. It freezes sometimes and then unfreezes. In other words they did a crap job emulating it. Midway honestly don't care anymore and are lazy. Everything is about $$$

I expect to get my money's worth when I buy something. I expect it to work to it's fullest potential. I expect the company to be involved with the product and keeping it working well. I expect to be treated like a customer not a damn fool. I expect service. I expect to be amused by the product for hours on end. Lastly, I expect a company (slight pause) to be determined.. to something, anything. I guess it could be money as for many cases it is.

EDIT: Has anyone fought smoke yet. My friend and I tried twice. The second we pressed start the game just froze for about a second and continued. I don't think they really fixed it. We were both holding down the whole time, then pressing start rapidly. Nothing else happened but that slight pause.

I ment what else do you expect them to do? Not want money? I didn't mean it in a sense of getting your moneys worth type thing. All they want is money they don't care if it's a good game or not. What do you expect? For them to care?
