I have the original Mortal Kombat 3 that was relased for the Playstation 1 system. Anyway, when I play it in my Playstation 2 on certain stages the music skips, and on the stages where this happens the fight takes longer to get going because of this. I have cleaned my system, the disc, and even had my disc refirbished and it looks brand new. I was just wandering if anyone also has this game, and it does the same thing, or if maybe something is wrong with my copy?

I have that copy of MK3 (the one with the big-ass Sega CD jewel casegrin), actualy it was the first game I bought for my PSX...anyways, no - I never have had any problems like the ones you descibe when playing it on my PS2. Now MKT on the other hand...

Ending's don't work on my MKT on the PS2. When you beat the game or the tournament, the game just goes black. It blows balls.

I'm just guessing here, but have you tried messing with the PlayStation Driver settings? Maybe you need to change the disc speed or something like that.

I'll try the driver settings change to see if that works. I recleaned my system, and disc and every once in a while the music skips too. Thanks for all of your help.
