I have finally get it!!! Well, I live in Brazil and the special discs of Deception and Armageddon were not sold here.

So I get it, with the help of beloved internet, bittorrent and megaupload, things like that. That was tough.

So, what I have to say is that Midway is not good making arcade versions of their games, like Capcom or SNK / Playmore. Maybe in the future.

By the way here is what I noticed it:

MORTAL KOMBAT 1 - Classic is a classic
It is a really good version. The almost nearly perfect edition of MK that I played on the TV, not MAME. I have only played the SNES version in old times. Great graphics, blood (no, you dont have to put A B A C A B B ), fatalities.
Minor problems:
- Some slowdowns, specially in Raiden Fatality
- Why the Palace Gate music is muffled? I cannot hear it.
- Music in the credits become silenced.

MORTAL KOMBAT 2 (MAT 2 Version) - Power to best 2D MK ever made.
Problems:
- flicking shadows - I dont bother, but is different
- No Smoke - unforgivable
- The music continues playing after Shao Kahn death until he explodes. Strange...

MORTAL KOMBAT 3 (MAT 2 Version) - The Earth is doomed. My favorite MK Game
Great problems here:
- flicking shadows
- music problems, it continues to play after you do a fatality. You even cant hear the TA DA DA sound anymore and also the victim stops to scream.
- arenas with that wind sound like Street and Bridge the effect continues to play until the next round.
- Do stage fatality and you keep listening to the ending music.
- Destroy Shao Kahn, the pit 3 music continues to play and you cannot hear the victory fanfare!

ULTIMATE MORTAL KOMBAT 3 - This game feels incomplete, this is not the same MK3.
Great improvement here:
- Shadows are fine
- Fatality music and screams good as original
Problems:
- I dont know why this happen, but when you unlock all 3 characters, the select screen go crazy in the colors. MAME also had this. They could fixed.
- The 3 secret characters dont stay recorded. You have to put UKK every time. Okay, pause function in controle 2 is a good thing.
- I knew that this will happen, but is to noticed. When you destroy Shao Kahn or unlocked secret character the screen changes really fast. There is a slow down in PS2.

All games are well done, but not perfect.

I been back into old school MK.

I have all 7 games on the Ps 2, and ps1. Yes I was able to nab MK1, and UMK3 in the packs, and pick up MK3 and 2 on the Midway2.

As for MK4 for ps1, I won that off of Ebay lol. Here I was with 1-7, with out 4, and it felt incomplete. So after I saw a good condition one on Ebay, I went for it.

Over all, I think there all great games. Yes even 4 was a good game.
