Blind kenshi... what version of mkda is this and what system.. i know it doesnt say blind kenshi on the ps2.

Atleast the Khan clap stayed in . I never thought it was fake. I always suggested along with some others it was just a temporary name for someone. But people still insisted it was either Shao Kahn or it was fake . Didn't that come from IGN or something? LOL how could of they faked that?

The G in the bottom right corner shows its from Gamespot. If anything it just looks like an early screen shot of the game.

in one of the official xbox mag's i have Kenshi's name is Blind Gi and the lifebars were real diffrent they looked almost like the mk2 bars but with that shape that the mk4 lifebars have.-DF

yo seaserpent, i've been coming to this website since mk gold, so i definitely remember when that pic came out. i was worried when i say that one too.

i dont recall people calling it a fake..but i remember every one thinking he was shao kahn, and that they could have spelled his name differently like they did raiden's.

you could tell that the game was far from finished at that point. the blue "glow" around "khan" wasnt put in yet. and kenshi had gone from blind gi to blind kenshi...and he ended up just being kenshi...and khan being hsu hao. i heard that they decided to change it cause everyone thought he was kahn.

yeah... old screenshot in all. I also remember mk5.org making a poll out of it... asking us people if we believed it was Kahn or not.

Actually the spelling of Raiden's name if I am correct was changed because of copywrite violations.

Then we got the pic of a few seconds later in that fight where 'Khan' is being slammed, and people started to wise up.

Some fighting styles have a couple different spellings, sometimes even changing or erasing seemingly important letters. For example, Hung Gar is sometimes referred to as Hung Ga, Ba Gua as Pa Kua (I'm pretty sure they're the same style) and Xing Yi as Hsing I (onced again, not sure if they're the same) so San Shu is almost certainly just another spelling of San Shou.
