Yes, it does look like Noob Saibot, too much like Noob Saibot if you ask me. But I'm sure it has nothing to do with the final secret because it is a version code. Maybe this is somehow related to the final secret and just try looking for button combo's. molochtheoni has already found some button shapes on moloch's ball and some statues.

You only see the reflection in the acid level, where the four acid buddahs are. If your in versus move the 2nd player to the other side of the screen and you will see the reflection of Noob Saibot. You can only see this reflection in the acid level. I tried the other levels that has reflection on the ground but they show Scorpions reflection, just how it should. Wonder why they put that in that level? Can it be that there is a secret in that level that we dont know? Is it a hint that Saibot is in the game? Did a programmer purposely inputed that image in that level to keep us wondering? Or did they forget to add Scorpion's full reflection to the acid level? Oh well, we can only wonder so many things. Time will tell...

Are you sure it's not his shadow from the sun?

I am 100% sure that it is not the shadow from the sun. If you look at the gold reflected floor on the level you will see the reflection I am talking about. You can see it better on the gold centered floor of the level.

Why doesn't someone post a screen shot?

I just did the Scorpion reflection, and though it does appear to look like Noob Saibot upon first glance, I managed to muneveur characters around to get a really good look and saw the reflection had a bit of a yellow tint to it, its just Scorpion.

IMO, I believe that they forgot to input Scorpion's reflection fully. Yea they show a little bit of his yellow costume, but I think it's a little too weird that they didn't see this before they released it. I would post a pic, but I dont have a digital camera, nor a scanner. If someone is willing to post the pic of Scorpions reflection, that will help alot for those who dont seem to see it.

*Note: It seems that only Scorpion's original outfit isn't shown mostly and it also happens when you are Player One. I used my PS2. I don't know if the XBOX or GC has the same thing.

It could be that they limit the reflection since reflections in video games they are just another rendering. Not a true reflection.

Like a auto racing game, the relections on the windows is just another picture of the sky wrapped around the car's window.

They trick you into thinking it is a reflections. True relections take up more processing since they have to calculate angles. Some games are doing it, but it is always less processing to make it a separate render.

We'll have to take a look at the other reflections.

Thanks for posting those pics HUNTsung, but you were focusing on Player 2. The reflection is of Player 1 only. Also, I've been lookin at other charaters reflection... for Scorpion's ALT outfit, they forgot to add the flames and for Kung Lao's ALT they forgot to include his hat. HUNTsung, or anyone that can do me this favor, please post a pic of Scorpion in the acid bath in his original outfit as Player 1 w/o moving him... that will be helpful. Thanks alot.

What I pictured is P1 scorpion in normal outfit. I just had to move it because I wantted to make a round 3 to take more pics. So a few hit made them switch places...

who cares about a characters reflection? all the characters look like that. kung lao doesnt have his hat in his.

stop trying to make something out of nothing

It's just his costume without the outermost textures. Look at Li Mei's costume in the Lin Kuei temple ice ,the black parts of her pants are missing ,making her pants completely pink. The reflections are simple less textured versions of the character.

Reflections are not truly reflections in any Console/Computer game. It is cheaper, cpuwise, to render a lesser quality image that looks like a reflection.

A good example of this is car racing games. The reflection in the car is an image wrapped around the windows that turns with the environment as the car turns. Look carefully. sometimes as you go under things, the image will change. But it will never match exactly what you are going under.
