If you play the Arcade, Genesis or PC version of MK2, when you knock your opponent off the Pit II, the character falls to the floor.

Actually, if you look, it's really the floor rushing up to meet your opponent.

In the SNES version, the floor comes up, too, but as it comes up, it uses Mode 7 to make the floor spin a little as it comes up.

Even if it spins, I wouldn't call that scrolling. Guess I'd have to see to believe...

ya i noticed the floor scrolls cuz i seen a video where it was rayden vs kitana but it showed only the part where kitana gets knocked off the bridge an the cement floor comes up to "meet" kitana

I hate how they took off the person falling in 2D on SNES. Like in the other versions after they are uppercutted they fall in the sidescrolling view for a while(like other Pits) before going to the birds eye view.

SNES Pit 2 is more dramatic with the pause inbetween, I actually like it better than the arcade because I thought the falling on the side of the Pit 2 doesn't look that good to begin with.

I recorded clips from the different versions of the game for those of you without access to them, SNES Pit 2 bridge looks screwed up on emulators, I don't know why, but it doesn't look that in the normal game lol, and I don't know where my SNES is. Check them out.
