this one was when you beat the game, i think the "secret" screen they talked about was the one Game Over screen that have "III" on it.

I was just talking abot that a few weeks ago. You get it for beating the game on one credit.

I never knew about that screen in Mk2. How do you get it? I dont understand the last post.

It's in the arcade version. You must beat the game without dying once.

The Saturn version has a similar screen with the developers of the Saturn port that you see any time you beat it.

Ive got that screen with the use of continues, I think you can use up to 3 continues and the screen appears too.

these are definitely not fake...as i was playing MK2 3.1, i beat the game once. So then i was gonna just go straight to the fight with Shao Kahn, and the first fighter was Jax. After that fight, my character icon was above the tower, and Shao Kahn. Here's some pics. I was hoping somethin glitchy or secret would happen at the end, but all for not.







Anyone ever have this happen before? And was it without using the skip to __ codes?

You get the "III" game over screen randomly. Play about 30 games and you should get it.

MK1 also has an hidden game over screen. It scrolls through the entire Pit. Looks really cool.
