In MK I (Sega Genesis), there is another hidden character, i read in a old magazine that:

- you must tipe a code when reptile said "LOOK TO LA LUNA", you can ́t use de DULLARD code.

The code wasn ́t revealed, but i remember if you use the dullard code you can turn on a flag that makes appear in the moon the word BYC or in six button sega controller B, Y, C. i don ́t know if this is the code because i dont have the game now, if you have it please try it (i think you must type "B,Y,C, then start").

Another think its the "FERGALITY" in MK2, i know how to do this in sega with RAIDEN, and when i was this game in my PC, i use a hex editor to see inside the mk2.exe file and find FERGALITY word, and other stuffs (you can put your name in the game).

And im sure that "KANO TRANSFORMATION" exist and its related with RAIDEN (Why NightWolf will change into RAIDEN in his friendship???).

In MK3 (not UMK3) Jhonny Cage, Scorpion and Kitana are Hidden (and the Hell Stage to).

in UMK3 RAIN its Hidden in the Graveyard, but no one find him.

Please Mr Ed Boon its time to reveal some of your indecifrable cheats.

Where did you hear all this wonderful gossip praytell?

You can look at the graphics in MK3 by opening the sprites from teh arcade ROM and there are no Kitana, Scorpion or whoever else you mentioned.

The Kano transformation isn't some kind of secret. Its just Away, Towards, Block or something like that.

And what makes you think Rain is hidden in the Graveyard?

look, before umk3 out, in a GamePro Magazine i saw a photo of Scorpion Vs Kitana in Hell Stage (maybe was a preview of UMK3). And About Rain There is a Kombat Kode that write in the screen "RAIN CAN BE FOUND IN THE GRAVEYARD" the kombat kode is Raiden, MK, Raiden, 3, MK, 3

"In MK I (Sega Genesis), there is another hidden character, i read in a old magazine that:

I've never heard that one before. And plus, if I had heard it, it's most likely fake, unless you're referring to pressing start when a silhouette appears in front of the moon (la luna.)

"The code wasn ́t revealed, but i remember if you use the dullard code you can turn on a flag that makes appear in the moon the word BYC or in six button sega controller B, Y, C. i don ́t know if this is the code because i dont have the game now, if you have it please try it (i think you must type "B,Y,C, then start")."

The BYC thing is real, but to my knowledge, it's just someone's initials and has nothing to do with a secret code.

"And im sure that "KANO TRANSFORMATION" exist and its related with RAIDEN (Why NightWolf will change into RAIDEN in his friendship???)."

The only Kano transformation that can be done is basically with Shang Tsung in MK3. Raiden is just there kind of, as sort of a cameo deal.

"In MK3 (not UMK3) Jhonny Cage, Scorpion and Kitana are Hidden (and the Hell Stage to)."

Nope. If they were, they'd most likely be found in the graphic files in the data.

"in UMK3 RAIN its Hidden in the Graveyard, but no one find him."

I think Rain is just there to frig with our minds. However, I'm guessing that a little hacking would do the trick for a playable Rain or something. It'd most likely be glitchy, though.

That's my two cents. I welcome yours.

Gamepro showed pics of UMK3 with Kitana and Scorpion but they never made any claims of them being in MK3. I think I would have gone nuts if they had back in the day.

It would have been nice if they did something with Rain. But, I doubt much exists since nothing has ever been found. I mean he was just a pallet swap for god's sakes, why not do Something besides put him in the demo in the arcade.

I won't believe this for one second. Yes, you can make "BYC" appear infront of the moon. It is also the initials of the computer's Highest Ranked player (unfortunatly, getting the High Score won't put your initials there).

I can't believe that the 6-Button trick would workd, because as far I know, the 6-Button controller was created after Mortal Kombat came out on the Genesis. And if you think it's there 'cause you can play it with all 6 buttons, well, that wouldn't be true, either, because you can play a lot of old games with all 6 buttons thanks to the MODE button.

That's a good question. MAME is probably the way to go for the emulator and roms (check here... hopefully it'll work, sometimes the site seems to be down and I haven't downloaded anything from it in months) As for the sprite editor... I have no idea! I'd like to figure that out too... So, anyone know?

ANSWER:
EGM did a run in their Tricks of the Trade section a LONG time ago that on Genesis MK1 you could get another secret character called "Nimbus Terrafaux" I believe. He was a black kickboxer sort of guy. I think it was bullshit though, probably one of their april fools or something.

QUESTION:
"Another think its the "FERGALITY" in MK2, i know how to do this in sega with RAIDEN, and when i was this game in my PC, i use a hex editor to see inside the mk2.exe file and find FERGALITY word, and other stuffs (you can put your name in the game)."

ANSWER:
Fergality is no secret, it has been known for years. As for the name in game, never heard of that.

QUESTION:
"And im sure that "KANO TRANSFORMATION" exist and its related with RAIDEN (Why NightWolf will change into RAIDEN in his friendship???)."

ANSWER:
Yes, in MK3 you could morph into Kano but in MK2 it was only a rumor.

QUESTION:
"In MK3 (not UMK3) Jhonny Cage, Scorpion and Kitana are Hidden (and the Hell Stage to). "

ANSWER:
No, no, no. The Johnny Cage bit was only a rumor - relating to his tombstone in the graveyard stage.

QUESTION:
"in UMK3 RAIN its Hidden in the Graveyard, but no one find him. "

ANSWER:
I suppose it is possible as he is in the demo, but I doubt it as he would have been found by now I'm sure.

actually that secret character you refer to doesn't have a name and only appears in a indurance match with reptile teamed up with her/him. The her/him thing is sometimes its a very green pixel version of raiden or its a very green pixel version of sonya. They had different moves. The rayden I only fought once so I don't remember him well. Such as sonya had a shadow punch just like noob in trilogy but instead of tossing them somehow It turned into a spear when it connected. and her rings froze. Her fatality was very very weird. To prove it's real i'll tell the first part and let someone finsh the second part. otherwise no one will believe me. She starts a leg scissors.

Some call the Raiden version Raidtile. I've seen Liu Kang, Cage, Raiden, and Sonya (never Kano) all fucked up like that and each one with weird twisted moves and some odd fatality. All a glitch though. Cool, funny, and weird at the same time. I would finish the fatality description you started but it has been so long since I played my Genesis MK1 that I hardly remember (since like 1994 or 95). From my foggy memory I think she pulls their head off and she looks all glitchy. Oh well, been a while, I somehow remember her also using fire on them like Scorpion out of the scissor grab too (like I said memory is foggy).

Yup, fire from the scissor grab. They were some of the craziest characters I've ever fought.
