I agree that they both suck seeming they both have moves that are more of a burden than any good (Kabal's spin and Sektor's Floor Uppercut) but Sektor would win because of his Rockets and Combos

In which MK game are Kabal's dash and air fireball burdens? In MK3 through MKT they are what make him the best character in the game, but I haven't really played any later MK game that he is in.

Regarding the Kabal Spin, I have yet to meet anyone that is experienced at MK3 - MKT that falls for the spin, if anything it just gives the oppenent the oppritunity to block the spin then combo as they wish. Occasionally it may land if the person is air born but rarely does it ever work on the ground. Kabal's combo's also get cheesed and the damage is far less than it should be. I feel Sektor is more complete of a character. Kabal does have my favorite fatality though, love it when he screams.

It sounds like you haven't played anyone that knows how to use Kabal. He is very deadly and the most powerful character in the game (UMK3). The spin is just too fast.

Even in MKT with the uber broken Noob and Rain, he is still a powerhouse.

Kabal

So what Sektor has missiles, they can be dodged, like Liu Kang vs. Smoke in MK Annihilation. Kabal is a skilled fighter, so he would have no trouble dodging Sektor's missiles. If it is a heat seeking missile, well all Kabal has to do is spin circles around Sektor and turn the missile against Sektor. (Kabal could do this by after doing many circles around Sektor, the missile is bound to hit Sektor, or after doing many circles around Sektor, just end up behind Sektor) Or fire an air fireball or a plasma blast in the opposite direction you are dodging to, or shoot those in the air and dodge. Trust me, the missile (heat seeking) will follow the hottest object, which would be plasma or the air fireball.

Plus Kabal is a skilled Black Dragon, more skilled than Kano, and would give Sektor a 'boss battle' in my opinion.
