So last time I had PS one MK3 VS MAT2 MK3 and
everyone agreed that the PS one version had better graphics, sounds etc.
All in all much better then the so called Perfect arcade version HA!!!
But anyways here is a new match
SNES MK3 Vs MAT2 MK3
I thought this would give the MAT2 MK3 a fighting chance...or so I thought
The backgrounds in each version are identical which prooves that the MK3 on MAT2 is not arcade perfect. They just took it from a SNES game.
The sprites are the same size, and the music is the same
that means these programers took the game from the SNES version and slapped it on a PS2 DVD.
WHat lazy bastards!

The SNES version of MK 3 doesn't stand a chance against the MK 3 from Midway Arcade treasures. The MK 3 from MAT 2 is the arcade version. Granted there are a few bugs in the game but it doesn't make the game fall into the "worse than the SNES version" category.
The last time I checked, the backrounds look similar, but the SNES quality is no where near the quality of MK 3 on MAT 2. The sprites on the SNES are smaller and are missing animation.
The game on MAT 2 is MK 3 like I remember from the arcade days and I love it. The PS one game is a great translation too. The PS version had all the original backrounds, and music, sounds etc, but was missing frames of animation and suffered from some annoying load times. Remember Shang Tsungs morphing problem? Give me MAT 2 MK 3 anyday!

Only thing I can say for SNES is at least they did the best they could with what little they had to work with.

Yeah, they did make MK 3 for SNES pretty good, but the sounds were horrible. Does anyone know why there was so little blood in Genesis and Snes? Cuz when they ported MK II on both systems, they had decent amounts of blood from the arcade (not all the blood, but a good amount)

Yeah, they really maxed out the SNES when they were making MK2 and MK3. I thought they were okay. UMK3, honestly, pushed the limits too far for the SNES and I think that game stunk.
And also, PSone MK3 had terrible graphics and does not stand up next to MAT2 MK3.
