Im just curious if anyone ever found anything. I got the game the day it came out and played the crap out of if looking for stuff and checked this board several times a day. But i gave up. I just wanted to know if any pits, extra fatalities, or extra characters were found. Was there anything to the characters looking towards things at fatality? Was the acid bath ever figured out? Thanks guys for any responses.

Read the board a little, there a tons of secret posts all the time. You'll get your answer, which of course is, hell no. The secret doesn't have a damn thing to do with fatalities, it still might be a character, but its doubtful.

What's the big secret about the Acid Bath? If you're in the way when the acid starts pouring you lose health in one big hurry. I think that's all there is to it. What about 12:43 and a hallway on the right? Never heard about that.

Maybe the 12:43 is a reference to Clerks (I wish). Add each side and what do you get: 37. Though this is very far-fetched.

Nothing was ever found in that regard because nothing was ever actually THERE. smile According to the Fight Night chat, the right hallway was going to be a menu but they ended up removing it. It's not accessible at all, whether as a secret or otherwise. As far as "12:43" goes, people apparently got it from the Krypt image called "Kenshi's Glass Eyes"; one of them has a digital clock that reads 12:43. According to Ray DeGuzman, the only significance that holds is that it was an inside joke by the artist. 12:43 was the time at which he completed rendering the image. smile

Hope this helps...

Well, most of those stuff were answered at Fight Night (an online event with the participation of the MK Dev Team), other were answered along the way.

Here's where we stand:
- The 12:43 can be one of 2 things: either the time the CG artist that was working on the Kenshi's Eyes image (that's a rumor that's running around, maybe true), or just a joke that the MK Team decided to make in that picture (this was what the MK Team said, some say a reference to The Last Action Hero's vilain's glass eye). Any way, it was revealed not to be any kind of a secret or hint;
- The hallway to the right WAS supposed to be another screen for the game, but didn't get finished in time, so they scrapped it, and it currently leads...nowhere;
- The MK Development Team confirmed that they wanted to get many stuff into the game, like Stage Fatalities (of which you can hear about in the Making Of), ripped clothing and other stuff. The thing is that, due to a lack of time and Midway not granting them any release date delay (since they were really down financially, and they really needed the MKDA income, which is what saved their sorry a***s from bankrupcy), they couldn't finish it in time. Some say (not sure if there's actually a source behind that one) that the reason for not getting the Stage Fatalities ready on time was due to a glitch in the engine (which may be an explanation to some weird events happening during the Finish Him/Her situation, like characters looking in other direction and stuff). Also, they confirmed there are no Second Fatalities for anyone, and that Mokap and Blaze have no Fatalities of their own, due to lack of time;
- About more characters, that still is a mistery. What they said at Fight Night was that there was still a secret no one else had found, as far as they know. Also, when asked if there were any more characters in the game, they said for us to keep playing to find out. That might mean there is, as many have concluded, or that they didn't want to ruin it for the ones that still hadn't discover Blaze and Mokap. Also, they hinted (after one of the site Mods asked them) that, in order to find the Last Secret, we would have to use a combination in one of the game's screens (they didn't reveal which).
- About the so-called Version Number Code, according to Ed Boon, it's actually in there, but it was never meant for anyone to find. The thing is that, since it wasn't Ed that told us about the Final Secret at Fight Night (as he wasn't responsible for the Secrets and never does get that much involved on that part of the development in any MK game), we're not quite sure where that puts us. Maybe it wasn't meant to be found, but it was what the MK Dev Team was talking about, or maybe, since it wasn't meant to be found, it was the secret they were talking about. No one but the Dev Team actually knows.
- Also, just in case anyone's wondering, it was also said (I'm not sure if at Fight Night or after) that there is no way to break or deactivate the barriers.

So, as far as I remember, that's that. If anyone remembers any revelations we've had (from the Dev Team themselves, heard rumors don't count, even if it is from the cousin of my brother's ex-wife's butcher that works at the Ferris Wheel at ...)

Since they said that Blaze and Mokap have no Fatalities, didn't that already ruin it for those who hadn't discovered them yet? confused
