A couple of days ago someone posted a message wondering why no one tried to get any info at E3 about the final secret. I replied by saying that asking about the final secret was the least they could do. So today i received a personal message from one of the staff members here at MK5.org (Im not sure if i should say who it is because I dont want to get them or me in trouble) but i know for sure that it is a staff member that we all know. The message said that the reason they didnt ask was because they already know the full story on it. So does this mean that there really is a final secret and they are just making us all wait and wait and wait to find out what it is or were they just talking about the version code which many people say is the last secret? Personally I think they do know something and just dont want to say anything yet because why would they go out of there way to send me a message telling me that they already know the full story on it. Well anyways I sent them a reply asking if they could give me any info on when the last secret will be revealed or if they were referring to the version code. So hopefully Ill get a reply in the next day or two and Ill post another message if I receive any good info but im pretty sure their not gonna tell me anything because they probably arent going to tell anyone anything any time soon. Just thought i should pass on the info since everyone is desperately trying to find the last secret if one exists at all.

Well I just got a reply and they said it is the version code and it was really only used for when it was a beta, whatever that means. So, sorry according to MK5.org the version code is the final secret. Hopefully no one got there hopes up for my post.

but didnt they say that they didnt even mean for the version code to be found...and that it wasnt supposed to be found...just saying

Well according to the Gods here at MK5.org the version code is "THE" final secret. But i still think Ed Boon knows somethin else is there but doesnt want to tell anyone yet.

The version code simply tells you what version of the game you have. It does nothing more. While the mods insist this is "THE" secret, I don't believe so. Boon said it was never meant to be found, so why would they tell us about something they didn't want to be found at Fight Night? I know, maybe they weren't all on the same page. Maybe so I suppose... or maybe not.

i was wondering if the version code is the final secret then how do you do it since i have not seen it on here and i have been coming here since mkda came out..

No one knows exactly, a button combonation of some sort. Thats the funny thing about the version code, everyone knows it exists, but no one cares about how to do it. Whats the point, why would anyone want to know how to access it? It does nothing, changes nothing, its useless to the game. I just try to forget it exists in my mind.

When Boon told us that there was at least one secret left, that means he wanted us to find it.
When Boon said the version code was in the game but never intended to be discovered, then doesn't that signify that the version code wasn't what he meant?

Even if the secret was my phone number killa52, don't think you could afford calling coz I live 10,000 miles away from you boy!

Why doesn't it matter? Secrets are meant to be found, not forgot about. I doubt it will be anything great, if there is one. This is what everyone always does while waiting for the next game, hunt out the secrets. Thats what they are there for, or at least, I hope they're there.

What kind of bs is that, for a grown man to keep a secret for a while. "they want me to tell and Im not gonna, it's my little secret". If that's not the gayest thing I ever heard. There is no secret, and no one gives a hoot about a version code. You shoulda got the hint, when they said eeverything will be in mk6.
