Don't hold your breath, Sonya isn't confirmed for MK6.

I 100% agree with U. Sonyas been my fave character since Mk1, moves, fatalities and all were just awsome. Since she was the first and only femele in Mk, I liked her, and like gher more then the other chicks that started to appear in Mk2, Trilogy, Gold, and 5.

But now, in MKDA, Sonya is simply the bEST character of all. I mean, Im not saying this cause I like her, but it has been proved and said many times. Sonyas styles and moves are simply powerfull.

Her combos even tho arent till 110%, they are very strong and damaging. her kiss is a 100% exelent move for deadly combos, and her fly kick attack (Liu Kangs) is great to attack when someone is in "Power Up" or in long distace.

Sonya was improved in MKDA in everyway. Her new look and outfit make people take her more seriously, and her styles, like Ive said, are among the most powerfull, or probably, Tae Kwondo, being the most powerfull style of MKDA.

And even tho it hasent been confirmed, Im positive that Sonya will be back in mk6. Shes just one of the best characters, original chick of Mk, an original character of Mk, and the only character to be in all Mks since Mk1. I doubt she wont come back in Mk6. She has a much important job now, The Red Dragon, and Kano, if he is alive.

BTW, Mavado is never mentioned to be dead, so probably, General Sonya will be back to kick his ass.

Sonya is a pretty good fighter in MK:DA. She has evolved quite a bit when it comes to the gameplay aspect, but in the story aspect, she really needs a huge evolution. (more than just being promoted to general) Her storyline is a bit on the boring side and I'd like to see twists and changes in her. I think the rivalry between her and Frost might help a bit, but of course there needs to be more to it.

IMO, Scorpions storyline is the most boring one to me. I mean, he gets kill 20 times in just 1 game, and still comes back to get revenge on his beeloved dead family.......thats just lame already. but thats my opinion.

Well queve, I also believe that Scorpion's storyline needs a huge evolution and that's why I hope his ending is true so that something special to him to make his character more interesting. There could be many possiblilities for him and the same goes for Sonya, Jax, Kitana, and some others. Sub-Zero fought and killed Hanzo and then when Sub-Zero was sent to the Netherealm by Raiden to get Shinnok's Amulet, he fought the ninja spectre form of Hanzo, Scorpion and defeated him. In the MK1 tournament Raiden witnessed the fight between Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Scorpion grew stronger because of the Netherealm and he was strong enough to defeat Sub-Zero. And Scorpion finished off Sub-Zero with his Toasty fatality. Since Scorpion had no other purposes, he went back to the Netherealm.
