MK is a fantasy fighter, and I personally don't think the storyline is getting ridiculous. The story all fits in together with the characters, it all makes sense (making it's own mythology).

As for "Mortal Kombat: Deadlier Alliance" not exactly a good marketing attempt for people that wouldn't know the difference between the two titles, and would think it's the same game, or even just an upgraded MKDA.

Jarek? PLEASE! Jarek is just one more of the MK4 fillers, not inspiring in any way.
Suddenly he's in the MK storyline as a black dragon member (which we've never heard of before).
Reiko? I think there's been enough confusion, and besides, we were told to forget about him.

Raiden ressurect Kahn? Yeah, I can see that happening, being that they've been enemies for centuries, probably even millenia.
And, what would make you think that even if Kahn were ressurected (though we don't even know if he's dead yet), that he would fight for the side of "good"? Doesn't mean he would change.

Anyway, I like the direction the story is taking, it's not another war, and it's something completely new and refreshing. Finally the MK story has somewhere to continue on to.

Yes, let's have Rayden ressurecting everybody even after Earth Realm has been taken over, meaning not only that death would lose it's dramatic effect in MK, also meaning that all the logical rules that applied to Rayden losing his powers outside Earth in the past would now be NOTHING. Yes, I agree, Shao Kahn as a good guy is a great idea.

Kahn and Liu resurrected? Jarek back?....IMO, that would suck. Im not saying they arent cool charactres and all...but let them stay dead. Besides, Jarek had nothing impresive or original, only his look, other then that, he had all of Kanos moves.

I dont really like your ideas, having those titles for Mk6 wouldnt really be a good thing to do....BUT, I do agree it would be awesome to see evil cover with shadows the world, but at the end (like always) loose. So, dont judge Mk6 to soon! I mean, no one nows for sure HOW REALLY ENDED MKDA, maybe Tsung won, or QUan, or both! And they brought the army to life....We wont know till Mk6.

I think the forces of good and evil should be in the middle of the final battle with the Deadly Alliance when The Dragon King shows up. Leaving no conclusion to the battle and leaving both sides in deep sh*t if they don't join the Dragon King... which the good won't... some evil will and some evil won't... Kano will that betraying scoundrel....

Well, I think that one of the brightest spots that makes MK:DA a brilliant game is the storyline actually...

SO many twists and turns, so many details for each one of them and how well done they all tie togheter is a very wonderful idea...

And here I want to congratulate the MK team for that great effort, and it will certainly be a tough job to keep the same quality but I'm pretty sure they'll do it!!

well as far as shao kahn goes,if they were to bring him back in a future game, he really wouldnt have much of a choice but to be allied with good.
he certainly isnt going to get much support from the bulk of the fighters in outworld. chi, kano, and tsung betrayed him, i doubt if the red dragon would support him, noone in kitanas realm likes him, so theres really nowhere he could turn.
thats why i suggested he be brought back and fight for good. raiden is his brother, maybe they could reconcile.

Let's Clear this up. Raiden and Shao Kahn are not related in any of the games. what happens in the movies stays in the movie especially MK:A. I repeat again Raiden and Shao Kahn are not related and never will be at least in the games. Because the producers already screw that up in mk:a, and as for the mkda storyline its fine as it is and is in the right direction for mkda.

What about Quan Chi? He had absolutely no one in the beginning of MKDA, yet he allied himself with Shang Tsung and got a whole new clan to serve him (The Red Dragon). What makes you think Kahn couldn't become allies with anyone? Or omg maybe they could this omg what an idea i had!11! Maybe they could make NEW characters that would like Kahn!!!11!!

I dont know how, but some kind of way they should incorporate noob into the storyline as well. and in closing, instead of making all these new characters like they have in the past two games (jarek, reiko, hsu hao, etc} bring back the old ones! like night wolf or even ermac. those guys were awesome and should have never been taken from the storyline.
