Do you think MK wouldn't be complete without sub-sero in any of the games? I personally feel it would be wrong if Sub-Zero was left out of any of the games.

I think the first mortal kombat may not have been very succesfull with out Sub and Scorp. There may not have been a MK2 without them. All I can say is: Thanks Guys, I luv u.

Sub Zero is Cool...

That was terrible.
I think, as Born Again said, Scorpion and Sub Zero were popular enough actually keep people interested in the game. Because of that they have become the poster boys for MK. In my mind that means they are going to stay around and I kind of like that. Especially with how Sub looks in MKDA, the aged look, I think, was really spectacular. As for Scorp, I think he probably should remain since his story allows him to basically be there for ever.

But how long can they keep Sub-Zero living? I mean although he is magical, he is still mortal. I don't want him to die, but unless he wins a mortal kombat tournament he can't live forever.

I wouldn't mind another game that didn't have both of them. MK3 for example. I think they are overrated.

The Sub-Zero and Scorpion are not the only poster boys of Mortal Kombat. Don't forget Rayden, not only does he appear in almost every MK game but in the movies, TV series, etc. Its often his voice we hear explaining everything to the fighters (and us) and the one who seems to tie everything to together. However, he has been left out of a MK3 and most likely the upcoming MKD. There is no promise that Sub-Zero will be in every MK game. Scorpion will most likely be since he is a favorite of one of the creators.
