i was thinking,i never finished MKT.why?because of the AI right before the "E" on the tower.once you fight them you hardly get a hit.sometime's i cant even block because the AI is so fast plus they keep using the following cheap combo:RUN,HP,HP,LP,HK,.and i dont like cheating by using Motaro or any of the other sub-bosses.Can you give me any tips on defeating the AI?especially MK1 Kano.

Noob Saibot, Sub Zero, and Scorpion worked for me. Noob has that ring that he shoots that if it hits the opponent all his or her kicks, punches, and special abilities dont do anything. Sub Zero, you could just try to freeze people all the time. Scorpion, just use the spear with uppercuts. Thats what worked for me.

Well, I have it for N64 and I find it to be pretty easy except on very hard or hard mode. Just practice alot on very easy. They do the same stuff except they don't follow through with the combos, they just do one hit.

The easiest AI break for Trilogy is that if you jump away and kick right before you land they will almost always throw a projectile. Then, you teleport. So use Human Smoke, Scorpion, Robo Smoke, or Sektor (Sektor would be the weakest cause he has no capture), jump away from them, right before you land do a kick in air, they throw projectile, teleport and get them.

This also works because if you do Scorpion's or H. Smoke's teleport, you can get a spear afterwards even though its blockable. The computer simply chooses not to block.

To go a step further, use Human Smoke, do the jump away, kick, teleport, spear. Then do lk, d+lp, d+hp, (do the d+lp, d+hp kind of slow and the combo breaks resetting the counter) jump kick, teleport, spear, repeat the combo. Where it breaks in the middle the combo is blockable but the computer does not block it so you can keep doing that and repeating forever.

Another good one is Sindel. Be ready at the beginning with scream by holding block and tapping forward repeatedly. If they run at you, scream. If they are within sweep distance they will almost always not block it. Then do her popup combo, walk forward, and have another scream ready for them when they are getting up. If you are close enough when you do it, they probably won't block.

These don't work 100% of the time but I would say using the jump away and kick with a teleporter can, by itself, win you all the matches up to Motauro and Shao Kahn. Motauro is pretty straight forward, just avoid and combo.

A good Shao Kahn strategy I have used for a while is to start out ducking, but not blocking. Take the hits he deals you but after every one run in and do a combo. If you don't block and just get hit you can almost always run in and get a combo on him after. It might sound like an iffy way of doing it but if you try it out a bit you'll probably find it works extremely well.

The easiest way to beat the game is either with noob saibot or baraka. The AI never ever blocks the spinning blade move. One you hit them with the spinning blade, do it again quickly and kick them after that, it does about 57% damage.THe ai never blocks noobs fireball either

Baraka's blade spin is forward, down, forward, block and then you keep tapping block to keep him spinning. You can slide him back and forth with the d-pad. Its one of the many moves that the computer just isn't programmed to handle.

Other good ones include Jade's dash kick, its fast, the comp doesnt do much against it, and for the recovery period afterwards she is practically invulnerable to standing moves.

To an extent Cyrax's net is still good. It was a huge AI break in regular MK3, just like Sindel's scream in UMK3. But, in Ultimate they are more likely to block it. Don't do the Scream or the Net unless the comp is close. Otherwise you'll pay.

Finally, the cheapest way is the dance. Get a few hits and then play keep away until the comp sits about half a screen away from you. Just keep tapping forward until you get too close and hold backwards then. They will keep their distance, often for entire rounds, allowing the time to run out and a time victory for you. That one requires patience but, hey, what the heck. Its funny to look at.

If you use a character like Noob Saibot or Rain the computer doesn't do a very good job at dodging their projectiles. I'd suggest using one of them.

BTW i hate the AI on that game as well ><
