Bring your Xbox then.. I have two adapters for the PS2 controllers. Those who prefer xbox, play with Xbox controllers, those who prefer ps2 controllers will use my adapters. If bringing ur xbox is too much, bring the game and a memory card. My Xbox is already packed in my car.

I'll I need to say is wow. Vers, you actually got everyone to show up, kudos to you man. Next time (if there is a next time), I would definitly try and plan it out better cuz that was pretty unorganized (Considering the fact that when me and my boyz first arrived the owner of the store had no idea that there was a tourney being held).

That round robin thing was a bad idea(due to the amount of people) cuz it lead to a lot of confusion, and it ended up being VERY time consuming just trying to figure out what was goin on. NExt time (again, if there is a next time) i would definitly recommend a double elimination Branch Tourney and if there is an odd # we can pick names out of a hat to who will recieve a By to the next round.

Got to hand it to Vers on our first match, I wasnt expecting the skill of ur Sub to be as high as it was, and because of that You took my Scorpion out ;( (Im still trying to figure out how, lol). As for SST and friends.. Damn, you guys really need to practice if you ever plan on competing again. You all claim you werent used to playing on a PS2, that u were used to XBOX. Big deal, Look how good Vers did (2nd place) and he only plays on the Cube, He had the biggest handi cap out of all of you if you ask me. And again SST, its no one's fault but your own if you didnt play as well as you would have wished. I told you to bring your Xbox, and u agreed. I had the Ps2 Controller Converters with me ready to go.

As for the final four of the tourney, it was Vers (Sub) vs my friend (Bo), and Me (Reptile) vs my other friend (Sonya). Myself and Vers preceeded to the finals where i put a raping on his Sub with my Reptile. Think Vers might of got a round on me that last one, but overall, i owned his sub with my Rep.

Like i said all along Vers/SST, you all talk a good game, At least Vers did a decent job backing his up.

SST, thanks a lot for bringing all your friends..mad props for keeping your word. We'll be talking Kung Lao on AIM if you are interested in getting better.

As for match vids, the only one I say I am actually proud of is me vs craig's BRC. The finals match just wasn't me at all, and I was basically asleep on the me vs sleepy's Frost match, but I remember the RS vs Vin match being recorded, and I think that was cool. It's a shame we didn't record my quan vs craig's quan, my sonya vs vin's sonya and my personal fav..my Sub vs RS's Scorpion! Those 3 were the best matches of the day IMO.

Im taking a break from DA. Besides MAYBE coming to NEC4 I won't be making an effort to hold another tournament. Hopefully Eight On The Break will be having a EC9 so me,you and MKL can finally get some matches in. Till next time...

My only regrets(besides not winning LOL) is the fact that we didn't get the best matches recorded and that the Semi Finals and Finals weren't double elmination because the owner of VGW were rushing us. What kind of tournament has single elim Semi Finals and Finals? I was kind of hoping RS would agree that our finals match would be double, but I didn't really want to bitch.

I'm glad things worked out this time. Was anything else played or did you stick to DA? I wish I could've been there. Maybe next time. Keep in touch, though, if you're planning another one, vers.

7 or 8 matches vs total scrubs besides your two friends, and besides, it was your decision to wait till last, not mine. I was ready to play anyone anytime.

Dude, every tournament should have double elimination. ESPECIALLY in the last match. It gives both opponent's the oppurtunity to feel each other out and decide whether they will stick with their character or not. Ask anyone who plays fighters seriously on this board, double elim is basically a must. You beat me straight up final match, so it's really not a matter of how good I thought I was or anything, I'm ok and you're ok. I wouldn't consider either of us to stand out, but we both know what we are doing. If you wanna get into statistics we only played each other twice, I won once and you one the other, so that's really no way to decide the better player. I didnt wanna blurt it "come on man! double elim" because VGW were practically on our dicks with getting the tournament over with, but next time Semis and Finals will definately be double elimination.

This post is not directed at anyone..it's probably more at myself then anybody. I should of told VGW to hold off and let us have a double elim, but I didn't want to bother Gino(guy who owns the store) too much. RS your reptile is sick and I'll definately have to work on my game for next time. Tell your friend that his quan is nice and your other friend that his Sonya really surprized me..peace : )

Oh, and as for official results. They will be posted up as soon as SST can tell me his last name, vin's last name, craig's last name and the nicknames they'll like to referred to. Oh, and if you can remember tell me everyone you played. I believe I remember everyone that used.
