This topic was inspired by one of the most exciting new details learned at Gamers' Day: Noob Smoke. Apparently the two act as a tag team. With the Deception intro video, in which Raiden battled Shang Tsung and Quan Chi simultaneously, also in mind, something occurred to me: wouldn't it have been cool if they'd used that same concept for fighting the Deadly Alliance?

Think about it: a lot of people felt Shang and Quan were too easy on their own. We missed the days of truly having to fight your balls off to beat a game, when Shao Kahn would beat us down to our last kontinue, before we learned his patterns and slew the wicked Emperor. Furthermore, why would either of them even choose to go into a fight alone, when the Deception intro showed their ownage of the Thunder God himself as a team? Wouldn't it have been cool to fight and Shang-Quan tag team?

Please share your thoughts on this (if any of you even come to the MKDA forum anymore...)
