Hey everyone,
Just got to see the site. Looks great guys.
Now... remember that post a while back about the code to get the 'version' of the game you had? As retarded as it is, I'd still like to know it. So if anyone out there knows this, please speak up!

No one knows the secret as of yet...So we don't know if there is one or not. A few people have said that they know it, but are sworn to secrecy not to say antyhing which means they are probably bullsh***ing. However if there is one last secret, and it's being held this much...I highly doubt that it's a combination code to tell you your version, and it'll probably be disclosed after the release of the PAL versions
Well, actually the last secret was already confirmed NOT to be the Version Number Code. After all, even if they hadn't confirm it, after they building some hype about it and telling us to keep playing if we wanted to know if another character existed, it would be stupid for the last secret to be a Version Number...
That's not the last secret, it's a secret character, Noob Saibot, it has to be. And if you think Im liying, go in the krypt, have all the sound turned down but enviormental, and you will here a voice "time will lead you to SAIBOT". so I think that code thing is a load of shit.
Depends on what you mean by code. If you mean "input code" as in combination, it's not a loadacrap (I meant to write it that way), it was said so by the Dev Team at Fight Night. If you mean the Version Number Code, that indeed is a loadacrap, confirmed to be false. The fact that it is accessed through a code doesn't mean it's not a character, as it's likely to be due to other things they said at Fight Night. It's not Noob Saibot, as the MK Dev Team said that Noob would only return if Boon wanted to, since it's his name, which mean he hasn't returned yet. It's very likely that it's Moloch, but nearly everything can happen...

reguarding another character(or characters) and the last secret.
from fight night:
"[21:45] PainGame asks: 'Are there any more secret characters besides MoKap and Blaze/'
[21:46] You gotta keep playing to find out"
"[22:08] Msmma asks: 'Is there any thing left for us to discover in the game? More Krypt secrets?'
[22:09] There is atleast one secret that is not known yet on all the platforms. As far as I know noone has found it yet"
"[22:39] brinky asks: 'can you give us some hints on how to unlock the secret that no one has found yet??'
[22:39] Keep trying all sorts of places for button combos....."
so, out of the answers we got, that only leaves us with more questions. how long do we have to keep playing to find out if their is another hidden character?
and as for "Keep trying all sorts of places for button combos....." that could be anywhere, and the combo can be done a ton of different ways. and that makes me ask the questions..what kind of button combo? a characters combo? or just a simple pressing of buttons in a certin area? and that area could be anywhere.
personally, i tink we're all screwed..lol. i have tried everything i could think of. ive tried past mk codes, combos and button presses all over the place, fatalities in certin areas, and the list goes on. i really hope there is one last secret, cause it seems those things were said just to keep us playing the game.

noober Wrote: Scorpio i think that button combos means thiz: you must make a "combo" or combination of buttons in some of the mk da menus like mk 3 do ya remember ? |
let me think.....the snes version had....
A, Y, B, X.
UP, UP, DOWN,
DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, A, B, A.
SELECT, A, B,
RIGHT, LEFT, DOWN, DOWN, UP, UP.
X, B, A, Y, UP,
LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, DOWN.
yea, i think i remember. my point was, that could be anywhere. hell, you might even have to pause the game to do it..who knows?..
Thank you for contacting Midway Games. I can only speculate at this time .The worldwide release of the game is scheduled for Feb 14th. After the rest of the gaming world has had a chance to play, then maybe the info will come out.

I was wondering if Midway will release information on what the final secret is in MKDA because many people aren't playing it as much as they would be if some new hints were released. Any idea if this will happen.

I think the final secret is the stage fatality for shang tsung's acic moat level (unless that has already been found?)

no, its been confirmed that there are no pits. Also, whoever it was who said that the krypt whisper was saying Time will lead you to Saibot, someone had posted that they heard the exact same movie in a movie (I think it was a Hitchcock movie if memory serves correctly). So it was probably ripped, like the one scream in there that was from the tv show Ah Real Monsters.
It isn't ANY Stage Fatality, as the Dev Team already said they wanted to get the Stage Fatalities, but couldn't because some complications appeared. Although, they did say that Stage Fatalities are very likely in MK6 (as in, they want to do it, since they had all the plans for MKDA). Btw, the Acid Bath stage (as far as I know) isn't Shang Tsung's stage.
Btw, Spider17, I completely agree with Claire, as it is more obvious that they won't reveal everything before MKDA PAL release, so that European fans have something secret, instead of knowing all there is to know. A few days/weeks after it is released, though, I believe Midway will either reveal it or leak it to some site.

actually, Sea_Serpent found it. For the GBA version, make a profile name "kwikkash" to start with 25k coins. I have the GBA version, and it works. The screen goes black and you hear the "get over here!!!" then you get 25,000 coins. There is only 1 kind of coin in the GBA version. So there. The last secret.

Also a newbie...my personal opinion is that the final secret requires a button combo on the "Press Start" screen. If the MK dev team was honest, and it is a combo on a certain screen, and if time is supposed to lead us to Noob, and after every tie (by letting time run out) we are sent straight to the press start screen, maybe thats where it is. Sorry for the run on sentence.

maybe the secret with reveil itself on a certain date, due to the fact that xbox,PS2 and gamecube have the date and time programed into them.
The date thing won't happen, since some people already tried forwarding the time (possible, at least in PS2), and no good came of it. Also, considering that the revelation may become after MKDA comes out in Europe, it would be a tid bit unfair to reveal it when PAL gamers have it recently (and therefore, with a low time spent on the game) and the NTSC have it for a long time (having much more time spent), considering it would be by time spent ON the game itself.
Also, the Dev Team already said they wanted to do that Drum Stage addition, but couldn't (along with more stuff on the secret characters and other stuff) due to Midway rushing them (well, who can't blame a company who's close to bankrupcy for wanting a money-maker fast). So that's not it.

hell there is no final secret even if there is no one is going to find it it could be button combos and god knows how many screens and menus there is or it could be a profile name or even how many times u bet or lost or something to do with the time or even betting the game with a serten chracter only using a serten move so even if there is one no one is going to find it

Please do not respond to threads that are not on the first two pages of any given forum. If you wish to discuss the final secret with simple statement such as you have, I'd like to ask you post it in the "stickied" thread at the top of this forum.
