I would like to see more background history information on Sektor, Cyrax, and Smoke.

Btw, not all of the Lin Kuei are chosen from birth. The Sub-Zero brothers were chosen when they were kids.

I think Sektor's teleporting sorta helps him into being special, don't you?

Remember, Subzero and his brother were hiden from their father and the Lin Kuei. Chosen doesn't mean taken.

In a Lin Kuei tournament, where the Grandmaster was referee, Smoke fought another warrior who had the exact same skills as he did -Scorpion. Because they were so evenly matched, their fight ended in a draw. The Grandmaster couldn't decide who to pick, until Smoke stepped forward, bowed and said...

One problem. Scorpion isn't Lin Kuei.

I agree that Sektor probably had a teleport like Smoke/Scorpion, and he was probably well knowledged in long range explosives and fire power, as was Cyrax to an extent.

Smoke was already one of the top assassins, so there's no reason why he wouldn't be chosen.

Smoke used to be the younger Sub-Zero's best friend, and they made an oath to never hurt and betray one another; that was until the Lin Kuei started making thier ninjas into machines. Smoke tried to escape with Sub-Zero, but he was captured, automated, and reprogrammed to hunt and kill Sub-Zero (like the other two). However, when he finally confronts and fights Sub-Zero, Sub-Zero tries to talk to Smoke and help him remember his past and his oath. He tells Smoke that there is still a soul in him and that he still remembers. Smoke does remember, and decides not to kill Sub-Zero. He apologizes to his friend and then turns to leave. Sub-Zero asks Smoke to not to go, but Smoke tells him that what they had was in the past, and this is now his future; however, he will still honor their oath. And with that, he disappears in a big cloud of smoke.

Hmm....www.gamegen.com says that Sektor was simply the most loyal member of the clan.
MOST LOYAL.
Of course gamegen doesn't have to be right, but hey, it makes sense to me.

Another Problem:

Why Sektor & Smoke Shows Up from the Ground Instead of Using Teleport Powers, I mean, they go into The Ground, (Breaking it?), and then they come Up just like Glacius do? WTF!!?

Cyrax is unit LK-4D4 the SECOND prototype of three cybernetic ninjas. His last programmed command was to terminate the rogue ninja Sub-Zero.

Sektor is actually the code name for Unit LK-9T9. He was the FIRST of three cybernetic ninjas. He was once a human assassin trained by the Lin Kuei.

Smoke is the third of three, LK-7T2. He tried to escape with Sub-Zero but was left behind and turned to a soulless robot. Sub-Zero believes deep down in this cybernetic ninja there is still a soul set to get out.
