I'm sorry but I think Reptile is, he beat Shao Kahn in 2 endings, his and Khameleons, no one else had that.

What? Liu Kang beat Shao Kahn. That's how the story went.

Yeah, Liu definitely beat him. And they probably just did that for Khameleon because she had no story at that time besides a connection with Reptile.

... Which has absolutely no bearing on how canon it is. I'll use another example:

Sub-Zero died in at least 3 endings in MKD (Hotaru, Noob-Smoke, and his own), and here he is alive and well in MKA. Nowhere did it say that he died, or actually interacted with anyone in those endings.

Liu Kang won the MK3 saga.

Chameleon is the champ of course. He was Shoa Kahns champion anyway.

But yeah dude as much as I like Reptile, Lui Kang is the one who beat Kahn.

I though Sub-Zero lived in his ending? He was planning on killing as many bad guys as he could, then his armor gave him superpowers (well, better superpowers), and he kicked ass. I always thought his ending (killing a bunch of Tarkata) was what was referenced in Hotaru's intro (Going after Sub-Zero because he killed a bunch of Tarkata).

Never confirmed. As far as we know, he died. Doesn't matter anyway, because that ending wasn't canon.

Actually, it IS canon. Kenshi's and Hotaru's MKD bios confirm it. How could he have died in that ending? There's no indication whatsoever. If anything, it indicates that he came out victorious. He "broke their limbs and crushed their skulls", as the ending states. You just misunderstood the ending, going by the beginning of it, that's all.
-------
Anyway, yeah, Liu Kang kicked Shao Kahn's ass in MK3 thus his third Mortal Kombat victory. And for those of you who still think MK3 and MK4 are tournaments, they aren't.

Ah, I see, I had forgotten that since I haven't cared about MK in a while. Thanks.
