MK 4 was pretty bad but special forces was just shit

Quite true. Very few love MK4 but its my favourite MK game.

90% of the people who said mk4 sucks never played the original arcade, they said it sucks because the home versions. why noobody said mk4 sucks while the mk4 road tour?

When the Road Tour was going on, I remember I was a huge MK fanboy and assumed MK4 had to be the greatest thing even though I didn't play it yet. But, then I came across some people online talking about the fact that the game just wasn't very good. They had played the game during the road tour and found it to be shallow and repetative. I thought they were fools until I tried it myself

Even after playing it in the arcade a few times I still bought the PC version figuring I had just missed something. Even without considering the graphics, its still bad. The gameplay quality just isn't there and I am still bitter at the Max Damage copout.

Not necessarily, I have an old Tips and Tricks magazine that has a feature on the MK4 road tour, they sent out different journalists to separate spots on the tour, and the majority weren't over the moon with what they experienced. Ok, most chalked it up to the road tour versions being woefully incomplete, but the general consensus was that MK4 wasn't all that great - even from the fans they interviewed.

With MK4 it seemed they tried to combine the dark aspects of MK1 and 2 with the great gameplay of MK3 series. Meaning the potential was there for the best ever MK game. Instead it turned out pretty badly, and the franchise has never recovered.

I do however, still enjoy playing MKG sometimes, as it can be fun for a little bit if you're not looking to play high level (again, seems they were trying to bring back the MK1 + 2 fans) as the gameplay is fast and can be fun for a brief time. The DC controller is the WORST though...

Mortal Kombat 2- Come on! No one that I know can beat that damned game.

You don't know many people then. Mortal Kombat is also designed to be played against another person, not the CPU.

i played mkda for 2-3months and i give up, this game is borring as hell, i have no words for mkdeception, but i still like mk4, and i know lots of people who like it too

I know Konqrr likes it, and Bill, that's it. It's too limited, a step down in almost every category.
