Third Fatalities?

I remember seeing that in some of the MK games, some characters were given three fatalities. I only know about one of them. In MKT for the N64, Scorpion had three fatalities:
1. Hand from Hell
2. Torch
3. Mob
I can never perform the mob fatality (for some reason), so could someone describe what happens during this fatality? Also, I don't think this was the only time when a character was given 3 fatalities. If there was another game that gave 3 fatalities to a certain character, I would like to know which one(s) it was and how to do the third fatalities. Any help would be appreciated.

What happens during the "Mob Fatality" is that about a dozen or so Scorpions show up and run towards the loser of the match, and when they're about to kick the shit out of him/her, the screen goes dark and it says "Scorpion Wins".
As for other times when there've been 3 fatalities for one character, well, the only other time I can think of right now (I'm EXTREMELY tired, so my memory's a bit hazy) is in MK2, and in this game Scorpion also had a "third" fatality. I use " " 'cause all that changed was that in this fatality (called the Toasty, if I'm not mistaken), you could perform it from anywhere on screen and your opponent would still catch on fire (I BELIEVE the button sequence was Down, Down, Up, Up, HP).
Also in MK2, Shang Tsung had an AWESOME third fatality, where he would morph into Kintaro and knock your torso off with one punch. It was easy to do, simply hold LP for about 8 seconds.
As far as I know, MK3/UMK3/MKT only had that one example you gave, and as for MK4, didn't care enough about it.

At first yeah, you DID have to hold it down for nearly 30 seconds, but later on they shortened the time.

SO they shortened the time on the later revisions?

Thanks, guys. So MK2 was the other game that gave third fatalities to certain characters? I have the SNES of MK2, so I'll have to try the ones that were mentioned in this thread. That Kintaro Morph fatality sounds very cool.
Thanks again.

Unless MKsecrets is talking about a test revision the Chicago people played then no, it was always the same. Hold down for 30 seconds or the entire round. That fatality debuted in Rev 3.1 which was the final rev.

I never realized how few third fatalities there were. For Shang it was awesome, I loved the Kintauro morph a ton. Its a shame they did kind of a cruddy job on Scorpz for MKT. That hand was crap. I mean they could have given it a frame or two more at least, couldn't they?

I just played MK2 on SNES and I held LP for 25 seconds, as I had read somewhere on the net, but then the next time I tried it at 15/20 seconds and it worked

Third Fatalities =
MK2 - Shang Tsung had Soul Steal, Explode In Your Ear, Kintaro Transformation (plus any fatalities he could do while morphing into another character)
MK2 - Scorpion had the Breath of Fire, Breath of Fire With Toasty (required 2 extra button taps), and Spear Decapitation
MK2 - Johnny Cage had the Decap, Torso Tear, and Triple Decap (required holding down a couple buttons after the regular decap)
MK2 - Sub-Zero (besides Deep Freeze and Iceball Grenade Fatalities) could do the first part of the Deep Freeze Fatality, and then go into any of his other finishing moves
And if you still are wondering what any fatalities look like, let me know, and I can possibly get an MPEG movie of them for you.

They DID lower the time required to pull it off. It was MUCH less than 30 seconds, though I'm not completely sure about how much. I'm gonna test it out on MAME and see if I can come up with the LEAST amout of time possible.

In the SNES version, if you hold down the LP button before the word "Fight" occurs, it can be as little as 1 second. (Try adjusting the handicap so you can take out the second player in one hit, it really works.)
Otherwise, it's somewhere around 30 seconds.

Hmmm... would reptiles invisible head eat( doing his head snack fatality while he's invisible) count as a third fatality.

When? It's only in 3.1 and 3.1 was the FINAL rev. If it's only in one revision I don't see how it could go from one time to another.
It is 30 seconds OR the entire round. If you hold it at the beginning of round 2, hold it the entire time, and win before 30 seconds pass it will work. That's the way it's always been. Since it's debut in 3.1 arcade into the home ports. I have no idea what you're talking about in regards to them changing it, unless you're talking about some lame "MK II Challenger" hack revision or something, it's always been the same. 30 seconds or the whole round.

And THAT is what I was talking about. I NEVER used Shang in the arcades, but I do clearly remember doing the Kintaro fatality WAY before the (supposed) 30 second requirement.
