Q1) I've heard recently (yeah, honestly) that Noob Saibot is a hidden in MK3, I really thought that it was only Cyber Smoke for the PS version. And I've had the game since 97... So how do you fight against/as Noob Saibot in MK3??

Q2) What game is the Noob's Dorphin level in?

any help please?

Yeah, there was acode you could do at the VS screen where the winner would face Noob Saibot. He was an all black Kano.

You fought Noob in his Dorfin in MK3, but you could fight other characters in it with a VS screen code in Trilogy.

Don't get to exited, MK3's Noob is just a all black Kano, without any special moves. He's also very easy.

Yes there was some VS screen codes to fight Kanoob Saibot as I called him for MK3. From arcade to the home platforms of MK3, they all had the same code. Enter 769342 on the VS screen, and the winner of the first round would fighter Kanoob Saibot. The code looks like: Raiden-Goro-
Skull-3-?-YinYang. Kanoob Saibot also made a special appearance in the Sega Saturn version of Ultimate MK3. For whatever reason, I guess the programmers didn't remember to upgrade him to the ninjas.

The Noob's Dorfen stage select code did not start until the Ultimate MK3 upgrade. It is not in the CD versions of Trilogy either. However for arcade, Saturn, and all the other versions of UMK3 the code was 050050. Dragon-Lightning-Dragon
Dragon-Lightning-Dragon. For some reason the MKT version for N63 did have all these codes, where as the CD versions had none. But those are the codes. smile

Well I fought Kanoob Saibot and it wasn't that great - it was much better when I fought Cyber Smoke for the 1st time (on the secret portal level.) Also Noob was MUCH easier than Cyber Smoke as I beat him with Sektor pretty quickly on the hardest setting (don't know if that makes a difference for the secret charcters?), but at least it was fun to play on the Noob's Dorphin level...

Noob's Dorfen is the section/stage that you see in the back of the Balcony stage.

Dorfen is German, but I don't think there is a direct translation, it might be something like habitat, of maybe Dorf was an ancient city or something. It's a very interesting word to say the least. The Dorfen stage is the Balcony with a layer removed to make Noob more difficult to see.

Actually the only part of the Balcony used in Noob's Dorfen was the floor. The background was totally original.

If you look closely into the background of the Balcony, you'll see Noob's Dorfen.
"Dorfen" Isnt a correct German word, there is the word "Dorf" in German and it means simply "village".

Dorfen could mean Forden.

64's MKT did suck ,except for Khameleon.I loved my MKT for PSX.As flawed as it was ,it was a great game. But anyways I never noticed a difference between The Balcony ,and Noob's Dorfen ,besides Trilogy only had Noob's Dorfen ,and SNES just used The Balcony ,probably due to memory constraints (also why they removed The Graveyard?)

Yeah Saibot, Tobias, Noob, Boon, Dorfen, Forden, Dorf, village, gotta be a connection of all of that meaning "Noob's home". My deduction of Dorf being a city was merely from glancing at the matches I got on German sites, and having some ability to dissect languages from all my previous foreign language experience, I was pretty close =) Isn't it common for en to be added to the end of certain conjugations of verbs in German?

Sie sagte zu mir
ich bleib immer bei dir
(I love Rammstein)

And Cmeth, this is becoming a habit I know, but there isn't anything at all original about Noob's Dorfen:

Not exactly, we have the letter "Ä" "Ö" and "Ü" for that =)
Dorf> Dörfer - Village, Village,s
Stadt> Städte - City, cities
And again it calls ÜBER not UBER =)

Something I love about the english language is that you can say to everthing "THE" In Germany there is a very complex rule and 3 different words for "THE", "DER, DIE, DAS"
Das Auto (The Car)
Die Blume (The Flower)
Das Schwein (The Pig)
But enough, this isnt a language course lol =)

I had been looking everywhere for a pic of Noob's Dorfen to put in this thread, but u went one better and showed it AND the balcony. Good way to explain that they are the same level, just missing the wall.

English can be very complex just like other foreign languages. To me, having different gender cases makes perfect sense for words like "one" inreference to a single item, "the" and "yours" etc. English on the other hand has many verbs that have completely different forms with no pattern at all to them, where as languages like German, French, etc, have a strict pattern to verb forming, with a handful of exceptions, but I like that (for other languages) in french there are 3 types of verbs, er, ir, and re, a huge percentage of verbs in all those categories follow the strict rules, but some do not. English has this as well, but in a different format. Verbs in other languages like that are also present as a single word, where as in english there is a base form with the word "to" in front of it.

To eat
manger
essen

A lot of people I know who have tried to learn English after moving to the states complain mostly about the silent letters though, and how people can change the placement of words in sentences and still mean the same thing, however, usually when people learn a language they learn it on a younger level, like 4th grade, so they wouldn't be taught how to misplace words, so this could be the same in other languages as well and I'm just not aware of it. I also thought it was neat in die(der?) deutschen Sprache that you capitalize subjects no matter what. DreemerNJ and I also too Russian in highschool, we found no practical use for it so we created a code, with another friend who took German as well as Russian, where we'd use the Russian alphabet to create english words, it was fun at the time. I have found many people online though who speak French, especially on Kaillera for some reason whenever I venture over to a european server to see the competition there, quite common and useful since I know french a bit.

Noob Saibot discussion = Foreign Language class. Killermiller you can hit me up for German lessons any time.

If 2 or 3 at times at max is a habit, then yes I guess it is. Lucky me
