For both the X-box and the playstation 2. It would be a shame not to play these games. Any thoughts?

I would love to see a tightened UMK3 with a few of the Trilogy characters added with arcade quality graphics.
Perhaps make it faster, less broken, more characters, and maybe some better graphics but I'm not sure how well that would work out.
Basically I want UMK3 Wavenet Ver 2.0, on a PS2 with netplay.

Hell yeah!

Hell yeah. But no added characters from trilogy. Strictly UMK3 characters. Sweet.

I'd like to see everyone from Trilogy in an arcade UMK3 exact engine/graphics/sounds with all the tweaks to balance characters, but I would also like the balance them myself lol.

No matt. What there needs to be is an ultimate mortal kombat 3. Heck, A trilogy game even exists you know. By the way, MK gold wont ever make it to MAT3, (but hopefully will), and the reason for that is some people say its not an arcade game.

Yeah a trilogy exists but UMK3 and MKT are broken. Its nice to have an arcade port of UMK3, but most of us can have that on our comps anyway. A truely balanced version would be fantastic, one that increased the skill necessary to compete in the game.

yes. Ultimate mortal kombat 3 would be good for both X-Box and PS2.

Picture UMK3, but with all the characters from Trilogy, with the arcade quality graphics they originally had in their respective games, all their frames, sounds, etc. Something would have happened in the arcade had they felt like it. The only reason Trilogy is the way it is is because it's a home system game on systems that couldn't handle it.
I would also get a little more creative with the classic character's combos, and of course go over the whole cast and balance balance balance.
Just UMK3 will eventually happen, I guarantee we'll see it on PS2 in the near future, but I already have it, so I want something else.

Arcade quality version of Trilogy would be my dream come true!
And this time with ALL the backgrounds and the original music. And i'd like to see, if possible, the option to change the way the character plays eg MK1/2/3 style, similar to -ism's from SFA. Or a really tweakable engine, like that of SF3

MKGold no doubt about it, I won't buy a Dreamcast only to play this game.
I agree with KungBroken as well, a remade version of MKTrilogy that can be played online would be awesome...
Or just imagine MKTrilogy but with some of the characters from MK4-5-6(like Quan Chi and Fujin) in 2-D that would be awesome

A remade MKT that has full 3D characters and 3D backgrounds would be cool. It wouldn't be too hard to make. It would have to be balanced though, Noob is too cheap in MKT. That would make my video game life much better, and I wouldn't mind it coming out on the next consoles, if it ever is made.
