I'm not sure if the PS1 version had the same option. On the Saturn version, you could set the option for how Shang Tsung morphed.

* As anyone
* Only as the person you're fighting
* Shape Shifts set to OFF

How did you use to set the options for Shang Tsung?
I use to keep it set to OFF, because the loading time between shifts was annoying. And the computer player always wanted to shift when I had it ON.

mkt on saturn is a little bit more forgiving on the load times (still bad but not as bad as umk3) on mkt for ps1 and saturn u had the same type of options. anyone load, limited load (u pre-select who u wanted to morph into, picking a palette swap character entitles u to the entire palette swap characters. for example, pick kitana and u can also morph into jade and mileena.) or u could turn it off. best thing about trilogy on saturn is no loading for fatalities (i hated that on saturn umk3).

I set it as morphing to the opponent, for kombo practice.

Shang on Scorpion/ Jump kick/ standing HP/ morph to scorpion, spear/ run forwards/ 4 hit auto double kombo with the b+HK/ standing HK/ jump up air toss.

Here's the explanation,

The Saturn version of UMK3 is totally broken, they float extremely high, even after auto kombos.

The 4-Hit scorpion kombo is HP,HP,HK,b+HK/ then the standing high kick must come out instantly after the last frames of the b+HK/ then hold up, and hit BLOCK, for the air toss.

Oh my god. Thats unbelieveable. I wonder if any representatives from the MK team knew that the dev team for the sega version was actively tearing down all the work they'd put into the gameplay.

The infamous Evil Ken and Evil Ryu for Mugen sound more balanced.

How's this kombo. Remember this version is insanely broken.

Liu Kang on Kabel, opponent three jumps away from the corner.

Hold+LK/ Jump up+HK/ HP/ HP/ back+LP/ Release-LK, then Re-hold/ Standing+LP/ Standing+LP/ forward, forward+HK/ Standing+LP/ Release-LK

10-Hits/ 51%

Are there any other double Bicycle Kick kombos?

Well, legit comboing of two bike kicks in UMK3 is pretty much impossible unless the one combo I can get on Sheeva and the Robots is somehow not blockable under certain circumstances, but otherwise, no it's impossible, you can't juggle after a bike kick in UMK3.
