unlock reptile to play as in MK1

I have the TV game version of MK1 (since my sega broke) and ive beaten reptile but it didnt give me reptile for vs mode. Is it just because its a TV game? Or did i do something wrong?

You must be from the mkd and mkda generation. Reptile is not playable at all. All you can do is fight against him in 1player mode I mean....

Through some weird glitch you CAN use Reptile but he's only a green version of Sub-Zero/Scorpion he doesn't have both spear and freeze but it's still cool to use him.If you want to play as the REAL Reptile then you
HAVE to use GameGenie for Snes/Genesis on some emulators you can
use it.

Oh yeah, if player 2 joins during the battle the color for most characters turn green 4 the next match.

Actually now you can play as Reptile by hacking the game and shifting some addresses in the ROMs, etc. I'll go get the video. In the meantime check out my MK2 Jade video....

This is played on MK II 3.1 on MAME32k0.64


Punch the below codes into you cheat.dat file then after you select your character press pause, press tab, select cheat, select enable/disable, turn on all the Noob2 codes from off to on, then highlight "Play as Jade: Computer controlled only" and press enter key. Unpause and now you are playing as Jade. Only thing sucks is that you don't have her your invincibility and her speed.
