???
I would say yes, because Shao Kahn, Goro, and Liu Kang were all confirmed as (or at least believed to be) dead in MKDA. Other than that, the ending was inconsequential, since no other characters were mentioned. It would have been cool to see how she was captured by the Dragon King in her ending, though.

I would also say yes. In Noob Saibot's MKTE ending he kills Goro, the same way it's explained in MKDA. I think it's safe to say that Goro is dead, but who knows - he'll probably be back one day...

Good, these were the answers I was looking for. If it's canon, then it's not Shao Kahn in the GP screens. But, we'll have to wait to see if it was or not.

Bezou Wrote: No ending is canon until the following game validates it. And they are rarely 100% canon. And since MK:Deception is not yet out, I can safely say that for the next 50 days, no ending is canon. |
Well, that and the fact that "death" in MK is like "vacation" to us.

OOOO right vacation, speaking of vacation I think they let the original Sub-Zero take a long enough break.

I believe canon refers to the ending being actually what happened in the overall story, since so many endings contradict each other, only a few from each game are what "really" happened.
Canon is the greek word for Standard if I'm correct.
Basically is Goro staying dead is whats being asked.
In other news I don't think the original Sub will return because he was evil and Sub-Zero has to be Good to counter Scorpion theroretically speaking.
Oh and that he's been dead since what MK1?
