I thought it was amazing. I liked the characters and the fatalities were quite amazing too. This has been my favorite MK game ever since.

well that was the first mortal kombat game I ever played. I was very impressed. The game looked so real at the time.

I can't remember much, but I do remember getting it for Amiga on my birthday, and I wasn't THAT impressed, I think I still prefered MK1 actually. But maybe that was because the Amiga version of MK2 wasn't as good a conversion from the Arcade as MK1 had been.

when i first played this game i fell in love with it. I grew up on mortal kombat 2 and prefer it to many of the other games..by far my favorite one!

I was 13 years old, and I thought it blew my mind away...

wtf! mk 3 sucks ass. i never liked it that much compared to any other mk game (except mk 4 which was worse)

At First I Sucked At it Till MKMonks Now I can Finaly Beat it and I do Hate MK3 But I love MK T and that Was the st MK Game I owned.

i loved the graphics fatalities and the stage fatalities.i only did mk2 on mksm and i have it for pc.

not even close. MK3 was the worst one. Dumb characters, SUPER lame fatalities and it lost its mysticalness

I can't remember what I first thought.... But probably thought it was awsome. I was already a fan of MK with the first one, but I liked Street Fighter better then. Although MK2 turned me intot he huge MK fanboy I am today. Not my fav MK.... Probably gotta say 2nd or 3rd fav MK game right now....

And hey what is the hate on MK3? Technically I fully believe MK3 is better than MK2 (technically). Why? Cuz MK3 has combo's, just a better fighting engine, so gameplay wise really it is better imo. Though still MK2 much kooler game cuz of the roster. Anyways really why the hate on MK3? I liked it.... One of the MK games I like the least, but I still like it.

When i first got it,i loved it.

Baraka was IMO the coolest beast i ever saw in a game.
The characters were great,Reptile,Jax,Mileena,Kitana,and all of the others were good choices.
Even though it is the hardest MK game.

I wondered if they spent any time at all developing the computer's AI. When I tried it again on MKSM I shut it off after 2 matches and gave up. There is nothing fun about fighting a guy who gets free throws from seemingly impossible distances from you, anytime he wants to pull one off, which turns out to be every single goddamn second of the match.
