What did you think of MKDA?

Hmmmm...I hope this wasn't posted before, but anyways, what did you think of MKDA? You know, when the news started spreading about the all new "MK5" game. And when you all first saw the video teaser. I'm sure you all remember, the one where Scorpion is performing his Kata.

What were your expectations? Did you think it was going to be good, lame, terrible...etc.

I for one, though it was excellent, especially since it was a all new Mortal Kombat game for a new gen-console which I though would never appear until 2005 or even further...

I must admit...I was blown away by the graphics upon first blood!! Although, it took a little time for me to except the changes in some character's moves (+or-) and their overall appareances. However, the more I played.. the more I was amazed by the detail in it!! That says alot...the programmers seemed to have not taken any short cuts in this game!!! To be honest, I now look at past MK games, to compare them to DA they just can't stand next to it!!!! MKDA, by far, the leader of the pack!!!

I was blown away by the graphics when I saw some first screenshots but now I hate it coz it's simply not MK anymore with this awkaward horrible krappy kontrols and lame moves, a cheap Tekken/SC-wanna-be game... I simply can't play that game !!!!!

MK2 and MK4 (and Trilogy) are still my favorit MK games...but as far as MK6 is concerned I'll better wait for Soul Calibur 2 if it will end up like MK DA and stay with SC and DoA 3, still my alltime favorit fighter games.
